  1. Serious Question: Can I run on snow tires? They're not studded or anything, I won't be doing burnouts (at least not until after I leave the line).
  2. Me....and at the rate I'm going with car projects currently whatever I bring will probably have snow tires on it to boot.
  3. Same appears to apply if you've got silver wheels.
  4. I was refused an out of state inspection at a dealer becasue of the lack of notary. I explained GA does not require notary for title transfer. "Well we're in Ohio not Georgia". I Then AGAIN explained that the purchase / transaction all took place in georgia which does not require it. He stared at me blankly for 30 seconds and refused to do the inspection. Went across the street to the BMV and they did it for me no questions asked. The irony is the same dealer did the inspection on the Benz the year earlier, also from Georgia, also without notary and they had no problem doing it then.
  5. It's probably going to look worse after they "fix" it. ...sounds like clear bra is the long term solution.
  6. Not all states require notary. I bought a car in GA and was suprised when the guy advised that no notary was necessary for the title transfer. I was a little skeptical but the bank processed it without issues.
  7. Mad hatter $89 for new flex pipe...take them about 20 minutes to fix the thing too. Just had my 1.8 T A4 flex pipe replaced there yesterday. I'd think straight pipe in it's place would cause more issues than save headaches. I see them as wear items. Just plan on replacing every couple of years. I drag mine across speed bumps with the winter tires on the car and don't expect to get any more than 2 years out one before it needs to be replaced.
  8. I was thinking the same thing. It is better though they should be delivered from the factory at this height.
  9. The faces are white with polished lip and they are hot. I've seen that car around a couple places and think it looks amazing.
  10. ha...as is the condition of 95% of Ferrari's on the road these days including the new ones right off the assembly line. The factory f's up most of them in final inspection "fixing" paint flaws by adding in sanding marks and leaving holograms all over them.
  11. The other one is owned by the Evans family of Evans automotive. Used to see that one around westerville all the time.
  12. I used to get all annoyed about the shortened version, don't really care these days. I almost look at it as a nickname with all of the people that use it incorrectly in the media it's just become common place to use either version.
  13. This. I too am disapointed with their race pace. After the red flag Kimi comes up through the field on a mission and Schumacher struggled to get a position here and there. I was soo happy to see him 3rd after qualifying but they have some work to do to get that car competative in a race setting. He threw it away with a mistake in Australia but this week was none of his doing.
  14. We use Metro Fitness in worthington for BMR calculations. They then work with you on what you should be taking in every day to meet your goals. bodybuilding.com is an outstanding resource. There are workout programs for just about any need you could possibly have. The forums should be able to get you just about any and all information you could ever want about everything diet and exercise related. Like anything else there's some junk to filter through but overall it's a great place to start doing research.
  15. not certain this car is still available or not but might be worth a call to find out. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99648
  16. I don't ever buy cars I'm not in love with and don't intend to keep for quite some time. I've known well in advance of purchasing each car exactly what I wanted. I also know what my next vehicle will be as well. The red Porsche was the only car I've sold in the last 10 years and we only sold it becuase of life events that could not have been predicted. I've had my Audi 10 years next month. Even with >200k miles and with it getting neglected these days I don't plan on getting rid of that car anywhere in the near future. I guess I get attached to them. Since I plan soo far in avance what I want there's never any surprises and each car fills the role I expect it to fill perfectly.
  17. Dead sexy. Love the painted lowers too.
  18. **Notice to Team CR German domination** ....we're supposed to all be on the same side John, great looking car. It's sharp as it is but it will be tits with coilovers and wheels.
  19. Both companies claim HP and torque bumps. But both claim unrealistic levels as far as I'm concerned. And both also claim ther other's product has issues. GMG claims you will LOOSE power and torque if you ditch the cats on these cars....??? really???...I think they are just trying to justify 2700 for their center section with race cats. Last time I checked 996 cup cars had no cats and made 415 hp vs. the street car's 380. The only difference intake and exhaust and raised rev limiter. The motors are otherwise identical. Nate and I had a good conversation about this the other day and I think we're on the same page. Honestly I don't care about power increase at all, I just don't want to loose any power. It's all about weight and sound for me.....and not spending a million bucks to get there.
  20. looks like a V8 Vantage from the photo. Worst case if it's a complete basket case it's still a $50-60k car.
