i actually sold the max already - it had a lot of good memories, but my dad wasnt a sentimental person and neither am i....he left it to me when he passed, it hadnt been ridden for a couple years because it had some problems...i got it fixed up, rode it for a little bit, and sold it to buy something a little sportier....but i ended up spending the money to pay off my bills and im saving for something a little nicer i cant wait for the day i have my own kid and am able to get them on the bike and give them the same excitement and joy that you guys are experiencing with your kids though....although, i dont want a kid for atleast 4-5 more years

pm ponyjr and ask him, he will know the general rule about when a helmet needs replaced...i think he wacks off to brochures about helmets

lol i remember when i was little and my dad picked me up on the vmax and all my friends kept yelling for him to do a wheelie, so he popped it up (it had a sissy bar on it at the time) and rode one out with me on the back of that heavy ass bike....my friends thought i had the most badass dad ever lol...i was 7 or 8, the bike was brand new at the time i hate threads like this man.....makes me miss my dad....42 is way too fucking young, and i was only 18 - thats not enough time....oh well i guess, thats life
