  1. Some vintage stereo gear is worth a surprising amount of money. The stuff worth the most is from abut 1975-79, when companies were first making high powered receivers. The stuff worth the most is Marantz, Pioneer, or Sansui with the big gaudy analog look

    RC213v-s

It sounds like it could almost be raced in Moto GP by a satellite team (with race kit). It still makes no sense why it's a street version that's dumbed down to make less hp that a 12 year old CBR600RR. Why not sell it in full power mode as "off road only" like the H2R?

This bike seems quite pointless. Ultra high tech...neutered.

Don't all track kits void warranties?
  6. I once bought a bike that wasn't wrecked...It was stolen and recovered, but still issued a salvage title. The thieves painted it flat black, it just needed repainted. It passed inspection with no receipts.
  7. Were the frame or forks damaged? Any pics? Btw, I am selling a newer CBR600RR
  8. For awhile I was just about set on moving to Leadville, CO. Career and life took me a different direction.
  9. There are lots of videos online on how to set sag. It's easy to do. All you need is a buddy or 2. This kind of chock makes it even easier: http://www.cyclegear.com/TRACKSIDE-Roll-On-Wheel-Chock
  10. Once I sell a bike and the cash is in my hand...they can set it on fire for all I care
  11. This has always worked for me.
  12. I've spent a lot of time in CO. I have some good friends there. If I were to leave OH, that's where I would go.
  13. How much power do those make?
  14. You were riding a smart, quick pace. Especially considering the law enforcement in the area and the fact that we needed to ride our bikes home

  16. Not all, just highway speed limits.
  17. I've owned 4 at once, multiple times. Others on here have had larger stables. My usual rides are 400+ miles. The faster I can ride the route, the sooner I can get home
  18. This is the decision I have to make every time I I buy a bike: Do I buy a bike with high level sporting capability and modify it to be comfortable, or Do I buy a more comfortable bike and modify it to have more sporting capability? Bikes like the Ninja1000 & VFR1200 seem to have the best balance out of the box. I personally can't corner as quickly on my VFR as on the CBR, but it's pretty close. Helibars and drop pegs make a difference on a super sport. But a SS is never going to have the same wind protection or stability as an ST, which make long rides less fatiguing. Comfort vs Sport...I've been trying to decide for 20 years
  19. The CB500s can also be had on the cheap.
  20. Why Paul? Is that vintage of Ape unreliable?

    Honda grom

I've seen plenty of used ones for sale with only a couple hundred miles on them. Seems like the novelty wears off pretty fast. I'd get a 250 scooter over a Grom.
