  1. My comment really had very little to do with agreeing with my particular choice of words. It was more of a general observation.
  2. Maintenance on these is simple DIY.
  3. It's difficult for you to agree with people. Amiright?
  4. The stock suspension is indeed a compromise http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/2014_yamaha_fz_09_doin_time/ But even with crappy stock suspenders, it's probably the best bang for the buck you can get right now. In the next couple months there will probably be a bunch of build threads where people add R6 forks and find a takeoff shock that fits. If Yamaha comes out with a version with better suspension to compete with the Street Triple R for around 9K, I would probably buy one...or the FJ09.
  5. Real life, I invested in FBIOX (biotechnology mutual fund) December 2012 around $100/share. Now it's around $220 and seems to still be climbing. I don't invest in any stock directly, just through mutual funds.
  6. I got out for a short ride today for the first time in months. Man I miss riding weather.
  7. Yup. It's been a long winter.
  8. After 14 seasons, I think I'm retired.
  9. Nice. Not all womenz can handle 2.
  10. Seems like a mechanical failure except for the part about the stolen passports.
  11. Id get the Nokia 1020 Windows phone if I was getting a new phone today.
  12. I will be out and backing a few times this season.
  13. I used to have a Honda Pacific Coast. Six bags of groceries would fit in the trunk. I took it on a CORE ride once, it actually did OK
  14. Agree. Lots of really good riding around Seneca Rocks. From Cleveland you can make it to Harrisonburg, VA in one day via some really good roads, including Seneca Rocks & the RT33 mountain pass which is pretty incredible. Harrisonburg is a college town with a bunch of good bars and restaurants. Lots of good roads to choose from: http://www.motoroads.net/wv/wv.htm
  15. I can give you some really good WV routes that lean toward the super twisty. Can't help you with the touristy stuff though. I do most my sight seeing approaching triple digits
  16. Corey West, too. http://blog.motorcycle.com/2014/03/07/motorcycle-news/cory-west-ride-ebr-1190rx-2014-ama-superbike/
  17. Probably true. But you have a kid on the way. How does any of this apply to you
  18. The B-last was good for learning...not so much for going fast.
  19. Did you even know he was hiding in your bushes taking pictures?
  20. off topic, but...ever wonder why the Buell made an 1125cc bike when the AMA/WSBK rules allowed for twins to be up to 1200cc? answer: The Vrod was 1130cc at the time, and HD required the Buell motor to be smaller. They expected riders would someday want to move up to the big HD bikes edit: losing interest in HD bashing...for now.
