Zero Tolerance = Incompetent Administration Zero Tolerance is a blanket type policy used to hand down generic rulings when an administration lacks the judgment to evaluate the context of each situation.

Interesting question. I doubt it serves any purpose, but my bikes are beakless so I don't know for sure.

^^^ Ugly and do-it-all are not mutually exclusive.

Since the FZ-09 is going to be compared against the Street Triple by every motorcycle mag...hopefully, Yamaha releases a FZ-09R next year with better brakes and suspension for $8999. Last I heard. the Street Triple R outsells the standard Street Triple.

WV has some awesome sport bike roads. The roads tend to be built around the hills rather than go right over the hills like in SEO. So, WV has less blind hills and more high speed sweepers. I love riding in WV, but it seems to happen less often these days.

Scorpion makes great helmets for the money. EXO 500 gets very good reviews.

Since the cost of .22s is putting a damper on other activities, pool is my new cold weather past time...again.

I started looking to buy another stick or 2. There are a lot more options than when I used to play. Seem like shaft technology has advanced quite a bit too.

I used to play a lot, but that was a long time ago. I am just getting back into it. I joined an APA league to try to find my stroke again.

It looks better than the old one, but that still isn't raising the bar very high

I just ordered a set to replace the crappy OEM Qualifiers that came on the CBR. I've burned through 4 or 5 PR2 rears on various bikes, and been happy with them. From the reviews it sounds like the GTs are even better.

Also, the EBR race teams aren't racing with the motors as it comes from EBR. Thinner gaskets, higher compression, etc, etc.
-
I think drag racing is more for 'gearheads' than 'riders.' You have to love motors, wrenches, and horsepower to be a serious drag racer. If you're a top of the food chain drag racer, you ride what...2 or 3 miles total for a race day? I like to ride the shit out of bikes 400-500 miles at a time.

Statistically speaking...it's pretty difficult to be that consistently terrible. With all the different combinations of quarterbacks and coaches it almost impossible that NONE of them make any progress. Unless of course your stadium is the Factory of Sadness.

Why trade a #3 pick for what's going to turn out to be a #15-20 pick? If you're going to trade Trent, why do it mid season when you have no depth at running back? They could have traded him after the season and gotten more for him...or why not just keep him? If Trent turns out to be a top 10 running back, which is pretty likely, we have to watch him do well for another team for 10 years. The Browns are an embarrassment

Ive drag raced a bike before. Meh...not for me.

Is this an elaborate ruse to trick people into watching one of your midget-porn-pony-play-snuff-films???

Speaking of Rotax...anyone notice the new 2014 Can Am Spyder no longer uses the 990 Rotax Twin that was previously used by Aprilia? It uses a Rotax 1330 Triple that doesn't require any valve adjustments. I wonder if that motor will find it's way onto 2 wheels? Seems ideal for a ST.

^^ I enjoyed both of my XB9s. The handling was stellar...but I never really realized what a turd that motor was until I got my Gladius. I've had many bikes that were way faster, but the Gladius is in the same power category as an XB9. The Gladius motor has less torque and hp, but it just feels faster. It loves to rev and has a wider range of useable power. If I rode the XBs like I ride the Gladius, they would have grenaded long ago.

Hopefully, EBR has enough success with the 1190 line to spawn some other EBR offerings. In one of the interviews with Erik after Buell was shutdown by Ass-less-chaps incorporated, he mentioned that there were plans to build a Buell middleweight triple. I won't be buying a Superbike, but an EBR middleweight or sport tourer would be very interesting.

Comparing the motors from the 1125R to the EBR 1190RS The Buell 1125R mill was designed by BMC, manufactured and assembled by Rotax. After HD pulled the rug out from under BMC there were still lots of unused 1125R motors and parts leftover. The 1190 motor was designed by EBR an used a few of the same parts from the Rotax built Buell 1125R, like the lower casting. This was a comment from EBR when the 1190RS made it's debut "The engine has some parts in common, but the crankshaft, rods, pistons, rings, pins, cylinders, heads, valves, cams, charging system, clutch, etc. are different." Lots of people have assumed that the 1190RX will use a more streetable version of the 1190RS race motor. We should know for sure in October.

I would venture a guess that the motor is designed and assembled by EBR, but the pieces are actually made a known engine manufacturer.
