I'm stealing this. I just need to figure out how to measure whp...should be fun.
  2. Maybe then they'd be forced to build better bikes to stay afloat...just saying.
  3. This sounds like a half-assed liquid cooling attempt... According to Harley PR, “Twin cooling cools the heads around the exhaust ports to deliver at or near peak performance under all operation conditions and temperatures.” This is achieved via a small 1.1 quart liquid-cooling system that routes through the downtubes to discreet radiators housed in the lower fairing louvers.

So can I. I thought same dyno on the same day was much more reliable information for the sake of comparing the 2. I have a similar displacement v-twin. At those power levels, I find the linear power delivery more useful than the dyno numbers...

    How do you define similar?
  6. I am sure all of this 'yesterday' technology will have 'tomorrow' pricing.
  7. That's like the super-duper-really-fucking-black-pot calling the kettle black.

I'm still not 100% for Saturday. I'll know tomorrow. I'd be looking to meet at the Millersburg Speedway around 8:30.

    What's the meet time/place?
  10. You didn't happen to get a sneak peak at the dealer network, did you?
  11. I have somewhere around 20k very accurate rounds through my S&W .22. 22s are fun to shoot, but recent gun control initiatives have made .22 rounds hard to find in stores.
  12. I rode 255 on Sunday. The road surface was in decent shape, but there was quite a bit of gravel. About half the right handers had gravel from trucks dragging it onto the surface Still worth riding, but at a slower than usual pace.
  13. So you're disagreeing...wait...now you're agreeing... wait, what? This was the point, LL is a slow moving legal process. In my case, the lawyer actually got it moving faster. It did not make me an expert. It gave me cause to hire an expert because the OEM was basically shitting the bed. So the OEMs think the OEMs are doing a great job? I'm sure some do, but not the one I was forced to deal with. You are welcome to PM me if you feel the need to continue this douchebaggery.
  14. If you haven't already, you should send this to the guy in Triumph customer service. That is the kind of message that would make rounds in a service organization.
  15. Jesus-titty-fucking-Christ Let me take a stab...you represent an OEM in some capacity...KTM, Ducati, Vespa, Hyosung or something. You believe yourself to be the authority on all things motorcycle. You think that the OEM is always doing the right thing...and the dumbfuck consumers and lawyers are just there to complicate things. On top of that you're kind of a dick...amiclose? You have my personal invitation to disagree with the law all you want: Summary of Ohio Lemon Law The following are the key aspects of the OH lemon law. In order for your vehicle to qualify under the lemon law, the following conditions must be met: • Vehicles covered include passenger vehicles and noncommercial motor vehicles, motor homes (except cooking and sleeping facilities), manufactured homes, and recreational vehicles, but excluding vehicles of government entities and vehicles of business or commercial enterprises registering 3 or more motor vehicles. • In order to qualify, a vehicle must have had a minimum of 3 repair attempts for same defect, 8 total repair attempts, 1 attempt to repair condition likely to cause death or serious bodily injury, or out of service 30 or more calendar days ----------------- I had a good dealer, and a good relationship with that dealer. Said dealer could not fix an issue due to a design flaw. The dealer actually suggested that I call the OEM to log service cases, which I did multiple times. The OEM was not willing to do a damn thing until a lawyer got involved and forced them too. The dealer's service manager (hush hush) actually suggested the Lemon Law. I was well beyond 30 days out of service. The dealer wouldn't or couldn't speak with me once the legal stuff was underway (not a surprise). The OEM took their sweet time every step of the way. I finally got a settlement I was happy with. It all unfolded pretty much the way the attorney said it would. But, I must be lying and giving more bullshit answers, right?
  16. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/03/opinion/sunday/why-police-officers-lie-under-oath.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 ...Peter Keane, a former San Francisco Police commissioner, wrote an article in The San Francisco Chronicle decrying a police culture that treats lying as the norm: “Police officer perjury in court to justify illegal dope searches is commonplace. One of the dirty little not-so-secret secrets of the criminal justice system is undercover narcotics officers intentionally lying under oath. It is a perversion of the American justice system that strikes directly at the rule of law. Yet it is the routine way of doing business in courtrooms everywhere in America.”...
  17. ^^^ That is accurate. 30 days = LL. It doesn't matter if the dealer is lazy, or parts are backordered, etc
  18. So you've handled thousands of LL cases. Dial it down...man. We're talking about LL cases, not good will repairs made by the dealer or OEM. And yes mine was a motorcycle LL case. Sorry, I'll trust my attorney who handles nothing but LL cases every day.
