  1. This is a very nice cruiser style leather Joe Rocket jacket. JR doesn't make cruiser jackets anymore AFAIK. The leather is thick, soft, and in perfect condition. It could pass for brand new. Worn for maybe 10 minutes, then I sold my Bonneville America. It has a removeable insulated liner. Good ventalation: zipper vents on the back and under the sleeve, and small perforated panels at the gusset. MSRP was $399.99. Sell for $150. This has nothing to do with this post, but it's was a nice looking bike

  8. This is probably worth another thread. You can do this on the street, but the group size would need to be controlled. From my perspective, 2 seasoned riders (lead and sweep) could probably handle 4 riders. Instruction could be iterative, adding new elements of technique as the ride goes on. --Line of sight --Head and shoulder position --Counter steering --etc.
  9. An instructional ride is a really good idea.
  10. No. I may ride the crappy local roads, but I can't get out for a long ride.
  11. Someone signed me up? Who was it? I wasn't closely watching this thread. I didn't notice that I was suggested as a group leader. Sorry. Oh, an I would wear an M or L.

I got an 09 Gladius that was a Hepco Becker demo bike. It has hardbags and a bunch of other HB stuff. Ugliest or not it's a hoot to toss into corners, and I got it for a song. I know someone is wanting the SV. 3 bikes is over my limit

Here are the details: 2003 SV1000S - 9,100 miles as of today. Never down or dropped. Runs excellent. Everything works. Cosmetically, I'd say 8.5-9/10, not perfect as there are a few stone chips, but it's a clean bike with absolutely no rash. Tank is nearly perfect. Ohio title is clean & clear. $4,200. Aftermarket parts: --LSL Superbike Bars - If you've never had one, these LSL kits are top quality and are good for all day comfort. I've done 500 miles in a day on it & could have kept going. --Dual Micron Exhuast - Sounds like a proper twin. Not overly loud. --Power Commander III USB w/the Micron map installed. Dual compound Bridgestone rear tire installed this week. Comes with: Stock triple clamp and clipons. NIB set of matching grips if you want to install the stock bars Steel braided front brake lines, never been installed Suzuki shop manual and owner's manual. Locally, I've had a couple offers to buy the LSL kit. So, if you don't want it the price could be adjusted if it is removed.

************SOLD************** So, I was half-heartedly trying to sell the SV, then I impulsively bought yet another motorcycle. So, now it's for sale for real. 2003 SV1000S - 9,100 miles as of today. Never down or dropped. Runs excellent. Everything works. Cosmetically, I'd say 8.5-9/10, not perfect as there are a few stone chips, but it's a clean bike with absolutely no rash. Tank is nearly perfect. Ohio title is clean & clear. $4,200. 18. Thanks. It's available and looking for work. And I almost forgot to mention the custom made super duty swingarm spools (previous owner worked in a machine shop).
  19. That's a ZX6E. They are plenty comfortable.
  20. I'll bet you could get this for $2,200. http://ashtabula.craigslist.org/mcy/2586468041.html
  21. Based on this SV sale thread, mine should be worth at least $10k http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=74848&highlight=craigslist I have it listed with an asking price of $4,200obo.
  22. Dealer is dropping Suzuki and Hepco Becker. It's a never titled 2009 Suzuki Gladius (was already interested in these) that was used by Hepco Becker to demo products. Comes with Hepco Becker top case, side cases & engine guards. And the guy is throwing in some other HB stuff including a few more side cases that I'll most likely sell on eBay. Still not clear on everything he's throwing in. But for the $$ I can't pass it up. I was wanting a lightweight sport tourer. This should do nicely. Plus the GF can probably ride this one, where the SV is too big for her, and no one gets to ride the Buell :dontevenask:
  23. It's unusual, has hard bags, and is a smoking deal. 3 things I can't resist. It's from a dealer dropping a few product lines, and just wanting to get some stuff out of the showroom. Some details are still unclear. I'll post a few pics tomorrow.
