Lighter sure. I've ridden with a few 'fast guys' that have had both sporbikes and SMs. In the hands of equal riders I've not noticed SMs going through the corners any quicker. OOC, to which videos are you referring?

There is something to be said for flickability on tight roads, but OOC why do you think a SM will go through corners faster than a sportbike?

I've had & sold both a 2005 Z750S and a 2005 CBR600F4i. Equal condition and miles the F4i is going to sell for more. This is partly because few people know about the Z, and fewer still have ever seen one. F4i is the better handling machine. The Z750S is a better all 'rounder. F4i suspension was definitely better than the Z. The Kawi has a stronger motor. The F4i was surprisingly uncomfortable...

For CCW, I am a firm believer that a small pistol, comfortably carried in a pocket does far more good that a .357 locked in a safe. Home defense is a different story...

I wouldn't belt clip carry, unless it has a Kel Tec like long-hard-trigger pull. It would be difficult to mistakenly pull that trigger even on a quick draw. I have a Kel Tec with the clip. I prefer a pocket holster, but in some cases I could see using just the clip.

When we brough the Victory challenge to the streets, we were not going to do it at some freakin' poser parade. No sir. This is Sturgis!! I laughed when I heard this on TV. He did a great job doing the PITA valve adjust on my Buell. And I didn't have to surrender it to the ham fisted HD mechanics (I mean chrome installers)...which had me worried.

If your riding both days, why not make it an overnighter and hit some good roads in WV?
