  1. I'm sure a lot of R & D went into thing, but I think I'd rather walk.
  2. Go to Fin Feather and Fur. They have stacks & stacks of ammo.
  3. So, if the weather sucks...next weekend?
  4. What ht/wt does it fit?
  5. How is it attached? Hopefully not to the swingarm.
  6. I've seen them 6 or 7 times. Always a good show.
  7. People have died for ALL religions, by that logic would you argue that all religions are true? For the record not mad nor trying to anger anyone else...
  8. I think people's choice of religion is far too arbitrary for there to be a Supreme Being with some master plan. This is what I mean: --If you were born in the US and your parents are Christian you are FAR more likely to be a Christian than any other religion. --If you were born in India and your parents are Hindu you are FAR more likely to be a Hindu than any other religion. --If you were born in China and your parents are Buddhist you are FAR more likely to be a Buddhist than any other religion. --Etc. --Etc. If a Supreme Being was involved, wouldn't it's ability to reveal the 'truth' be able to overcome something as arbitrary as geography???
  9. All you non-Mormans don't have a clue http://mcooki.es/59507 oh...and South Park kicks ass.
  10. What's this end of season BS? it's still September. I have a softball tournement on Sat, anyone riding Sun?
  11. jbot, if you buy the rear, pick up the front for me. You can even drop it off while you're in Parma
  12. I'd be interested except for the automatic, dual clutch, tranny. Maybe they'll offer a version with a normal 6 speed.
  13. Bump. If there weren't 3 bikes in the garage I might pick this up.
  14. Pretty good deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-HONDA-VFR800-25TH-ANNIVERSARY-NON-ABS-UM60534-C-S_W0QQitemZ200383207814QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_motorcycles?hash=item2ea7c51986&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245
  15. I've had lots of bikes (20 or so). I will say the 919 has the finest STREET motor of any of them. Very linear power delivery, plenty of torque, not much shifting required. But as good as the motor is, the suspension is equally bad. The front is too soft, the rear is too stiff with too little damping (can you say pogo stick). Cornering at anything over 7/10th pace gets sketchy. Compared to my Buell...I was significantly slower on the 919, and was working harder to get the 919 through corners. Depending on your riding style, the 919 may be a good choice. It's a top notch commuter, a good sport tourer, & quick in a straight line. But if you enjoy leaning to the edge of your tires I would say look elsewhere.
  16. Just before I enter a tight corner, I like to lightly touch the front brake. Not to reduce corner entry speed, but to put more wieght on the front tire.
  17. Yep, that is why I'm condering it. Buell resale value is relatively low, and V-Twin sporty bikes seem to be more 'niche' bikes.
  18. Buell is defintely a sportbike, there are people that can ride them faster than me (come on a CORE ride). I've put almost 40k miles on Buells & I'll prolly get another one of these days. For now I'm trying to I'm just looking to ride something different & I'm finally starting to feel confident on the F4i that I picked up this spring. UP, you wouldn't happen to know someone who needs a ZX6r would you...
  19. I'll wait a week or 2 and if the Buell doesn't sell, I'll prolly do this trade. I'm guessing a 636 with a warranty will sell easier than the Buell. Plus, I could return the 636 to stock and sell the aftermarket stuff on ebay.
