  1. That's the key. Franchising has some benefits, and gives you a name. But, most franchises aren't cheap, and will likely have recurring fees that take a bite.
  2. I prefer drivers over ribbons.
  3. If anyone is looking... A lifetime ago, I used to sell high end audio. I'm selling a pair of Polk RT3000P Speakers. I know the Polk name doesn't have the cache' of some other audio names in high end circles, but their flagship models are as good or better than speakers costing much more. The bass units are powered with a heavy amp that puts out a legitimate 300w/channel. New these were $3,600/pair. They sound fantastic. Stock photo
  4. The motor looks like it's from an old goldwing.
  5. Top right, by the green vehicle.
  6. You won't be able to unhear this one. Sorry. System Of A Down - Chop Suey (Animal Cover)
  7. Human Resources are the hall monitors of the business world. As long as you check that box, then they did everything they could.
  8. We take ground so the Army has a place to setup a garrison.
  9. I have a like new G42 I'll sell. Comes with a total of 5 mags, 4 have Pearce extensions. Also has a Hogue Grip sleeve.
  10. Either considered a pistol or SBR. Pistols can have an arm brace that looks a lot like a stock, but isn't a stock...apparently.
  11. Short barrel and 7.62, ouch. Does it have a Kak can or something to throw sound forward?
  12. We can argue about anything
  13. I put this together last year. The goal was a sub $500 (including optics) Target AR that could shoot MOA or better. It's a "smooth" build target AR. Anderson .223 Wylde (.223/5.56), DPMS Target thick walled upper, Hogue aluminum free floated forend, 24x Tasco Varmint scope, etc. I'm sure there are some higher end ARs that could do better, but this one is hard to beat for $500. I bought a few parts used, and manged to stay under budget.

  15. I built a budget 500+ yard AR last year. It's about minute of dinner plate at 500, reliable and fun.
  16. If you don't ride the same bike as pokey and ride it the same way, then you must be doing it wrong. Honestly, a GS is a fine bike for what it is, but it wouldn't crack my top 20 bikes I want to own. It wouldn't be the top adv bike, or even the top BMW. Sorry.
  17. Can't go wrong with a G19
  18. I've ridden with plenty of blazing fast riders on bikes that weren't supersports. But in equal hands, a supersport that's lighter, capable of more lean angle, and with more front end feel is going have the advantage.
  19. I have a Ford Flex with the panoramic Vista roof. I wasn't sure I wanted that roof when I bought it, but Ford advertised that they were basically unbreakable. Guess what...it cracked. I'm not sure if a rock hit it or maybe it's a stress crack, but the replacement estimate is about $2,000 I'm going handle it through as insurance claim, but still. PSA: think twice before buying a vehicle with a glass roof. At least do a google search for them breaking on that specific vehicle. They look nice, but...
  20. Yep. I'm 45, but my rates have been about the same for the past 10 years.
  21. All 3 of my bikes are about 600/year, total. And I have "some" speeding tickets. I know that is a huge surprise
