  1. Human Resources are the hall monitors of the business world. As long as you check that box, then they did everything they could.
  2. We take ground so the Army has a place to setup a garrison.
  3. I have a like new G42 I'll sell. Comes with a total of 5 mags, 4 have Pearce extensions. Also has a Hogue Grip sleeve.
  4. Either considered a pistol or SBR. Pistols can have an arm brace that looks a lot like a stock, but isn't a stock...apparently.
  5. Short barrel and 7.62, ouch. Does it have a Kak can or something to throw sound forward?
  6. We can argue about anything
  7. I put this together last year. The goal was a sub $500 (including optics) Target AR that could shoot MOA or better. It's a "smooth" build target AR. Anderson .223 Wylde (.223/5.56), DPMS Target thick walled upper, Hogue aluminum free floated forend, 24x Tasco Varmint scope, etc. I'm sure there are some higher end ARs that could do better, but this one is hard to beat for $500. I bought a few parts used, and manged to stay under budget.

  9. I built a budget 500+ yard AR last year. It's about minute of dinner plate at 500, reliable and fun.
  10. If you don't ride the same bike as pokey and ride it the same way, then you must be doing it wrong. Honestly, a GS is a fine bike for what it is, but it wouldn't crack my top 20 bikes I want to own. It wouldn't be the top adv bike, or even the top BMW. Sorry.
  11. Can't go wrong with a G19
  12. I've ridden with plenty of blazing fast riders on bikes that weren't supersports. But in equal hands, a supersport that's lighter, capable of more lean angle, and with more front end feel is going have the advantage.
  13. I have a Ford Flex with the panoramic Vista roof. I wasn't sure I wanted that roof when I bought it, but Ford advertised that they were basically unbreakable. Guess what...it cracked. I'm not sure if a rock hit it or maybe it's a stress crack, but the replacement estimate is about $2,000 I'm going handle it through as insurance claim, but still. PSA: think twice before buying a vehicle with a glass roof. At least do a google search for them breaking on that specific vehicle. They look nice, but...
  14. Yep. I'm 45, but my rates have been about the same for the past 10 years.
  15. All 3 of my bikes are about 600/year, total. And I have "some" speeding tickets. I know that is a huge surprise
  16. New they were 15999, bags were another 1600...and that was in 2010. That definitely limited sales. My insurance is 220/year through state farm.
  17. One of the things that stands out about the VFR 12 is the traction. It has excellent grip and can get all that power to the ground without even a wiggle. I can get on the throttle earlier on corner exit than on other bikes I've owned including the 1125r and cbr600rr. I can basically dump the throttle mid corner and it it shoots out. It's a refined package.
  18. The new Ruger Security 9 looks really nice for an inexpensive pistol. I like the SD9VE, very good for what it is ( I might be the only person that likes the older Sigma SW9VE, I'll never sell that one).
  19. I once bought a Ruger MK 2 for $60. It looked it was used as a hammer then dragged behind a truck. It worked fine and was still accurate.
  20. Not mine, but this is a really good deal Versys for $1,800 https://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/d/2008-kawasaki-versys-kle650/6511846146.html
  21. I hoping they release it with a stainless barrel but I'm getting one either way. You can get a Kriss Vector in 10mm, but IMO they are too pricey for what they are.
  22. Anyone looking for someone to split a room?
  23. The Street Rod has Brembo brakes, showa suspension, and significantly more lean angle than the standard VRod. Stock it has a few more HP also. Mine should dyno right around 115hp, maybe a bit more.
