New they were 15999, bags were another 1600...and that was in 2010. That definitely limited sales. My insurance is 220/year through state farm.

One of the things that stands out about the VFR 12 is the traction. It has excellent grip and can get all that power to the ground without even a wiggle. I can get on the throttle earlier on corner exit than on other bikes I've owned including the 1125r and cbr600rr. I can basically dump the throttle mid corner and it it shoots out. It's a refined package.

The new Ruger Security 9 looks really nice for an inexpensive pistol. I like the SD9VE, very good for what it is ( I might be the only person that likes the older Sigma SW9VE, I'll never sell that one).

I once bought a Ruger MK 2 for $60. It looked it was used as a hammer then dragged behind a truck. It worked fine and was still accurate.

I hoping they release it with a stainless barrel but I'm getting one either way. You can get a Kriss Vector in 10mm, but IMO they are too pricey for what they are.

The Street Rod has Brembo brakes, showa suspension, and significantly more lean angle than the standard VRod. Stock it has a few more HP also. Mine should dyno right around 115hp, maybe a bit more.

Honda always seems to hide weight really well. OTOH, I swear HD tries to make their bikes feel even heavier then they actually are. Last time I rode a big twin (Fatboy) the front end felt like it was made of cement.

We went down there with zero plans and did whatever seemed fun at the moment. Tulum is really cool. We also did a half day catamaran/snorkeling/booze cruise that was awesome. We saw a giant stingray. Personally, I wouldn't rent a car. If you are staying at a resort, you can book the outings when you get there, including transportation. Plus you'll have a guide that knows the area and the sites. There's a catamaran trip/snorkeling/booze cruise that departs from Cancun and goes around the isle of mujeres. I'd recommend that.
