Little bit of everything

I am not that big into .45s. I did recently trade for a Ruger SR45. I am kind of looking forward to shooting it.

In this case, I like the company. The money is favorable. The position and type of work are right. They just seem a little slow to make decisions.

If I formally get an offer I'll likely take it. I've had 5 interviews with this company...yes 5.

After thinking about it long and hard...I just don't have a big enough ego and I'm far too tolerant to be a Progressive Democrat.

His ebay account was shut down so I couldn't contact him directly. I'm guessing there were many complaints before I received mine.

I am a pretty well trained shooter, learned marksmanship in the Marines, etc. I don't really have bad shooting habits. For whatever reason, I shoot XDs and XDMs better than anything else. I don't think the design is any more accurate than Glocks, Sigs, M&Ps, 1911s, etc...but I can't argue with the results on paper. I've shot them back to back enough times that I'm convinced. It must be the way the trigger breaks

The counterfeit Sandisk card I bought looked good. Really good. I won't buy anything where the seller is listed in China, Hong Kong, etc. This seller was some guy in Indiana, he had many of them for sale. I kind of suspected that he didn't know they were fake. Perhaps he got scammed by some shady distributor.

I've gotten tons of smoking deals off eBay, including 3 or 4 motorcycles.

I also bought a fake 64GB memory card from ebay from a US based seller. It was a really good looking fake. The package and card looked just like a real Sandisk. It was actually a really slow 2GB card. By the time it arrived the seller's ebay account was already shut down. Ebay refunded my money pretty quickly.

Can I play too?

I'm selling one of my .40s #1 is an unfired Gen 4 Glock 23. It's new in the box, comes with 2 mags - $500 #2 is an XDm 40 S&W 5.25 Competition Series Bi-tone. It's in excellent condition and super accurate. Comes with XDm gear and 6 mags - $675 Firm on prices. Personally, I'd rather sell the Glock Stock photo, but anyone that knows me can tell you I take excellent care of my stuff.

A fast car is slower than a slow bike.

Other than attending too may funerals, 2016 wasn't a bad year. It was eventful with one major thing after another. I'm hoping to catch my breath in 2017.

2016 was an eventful year for me. 4 surgeries (2 minor)...recovered from some serious injuries...Went through a major break up...Went through a custody battle...Lost some close friends...Added quite a few great people to my life...Lost weight...Got healthy...Etc 2016 definitely tested my mettle. I've adapted to things I never saw coming and overcame them. All things considered, I am better off at the end of this year than I was at the beginning. I am in a very good place other than the fact that I've grown to hate the people I work for. I'm in the process of solving that, too.

I generally attend alcohol-centric events that are relatively nearby. And stuff.

My balls are sore.

Ruger does rim fire very well. With the possible exception of Marlin, I'd venture a guess that more rim fire rounds have been fired out of Rugers than anything else.

Now, I want to shoot it

I have shot plenty of rounds through mine with no issue. Ruger's customer service is top notch if a problem were to develop someday. I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Awesome. It was unfired. I most likely would have kept it if I had taken it to the range.

The commute is exactly 30 miles each way, which is exactly 30 miles further than I commute now. Moving is not an easy option due to kids and custody agreement. The position and $$ are attractive. I'm leaning toward taking it. I have been disgusted with my current employer for awhile now

If the popular vote would have been the deciding factor, both candidates would have ran their campaigns differently, locations for rallies would have been chosen differently, etc. Who knows how the votes would have fallen. Personally, I like the EC. It maintains the political relevancy of states with lower populations.
