    Help me please!

I sense apathy here. Anybody from around Cleveland that wants to go for a nice ride tomorrow speak now or forever hold your peace. I'm going down to the Coshocton area tomorrow to ride with Hutch, CBR Brent & others & if I don't hear from anybody around here in this thread tonight I'm going to bypass the meetup tomorrow morning. If you don't want to go don't speak up.

    5/7?

Ok. See you at the Marathon @ SR 83 & Whitewoman St. in Coshocton at 10. Looking forward to it.

    5/7?

It's not written in stone that I have to go to Coshocton first. If its better that I meet you gentlemen in Newark that's ok too. Just let me know.

    5/7?

You know the roads in the area better than I. I'm usually just passing thru on my way south. Your route would be great if you've got the time to plan.

    5/7?

How about leaving from the Marathon on SR 83 & Whitewoman St. in Coshocton at 10:00 tomorrow morning?
  7. I've beaten cars on my bike too. I guess they just aren't that fast are they.

    Droid data???

Switching from a dumb phone to a smart phone. I am offered plans including 200 MB, 2 GB, 4 GB data. WAG tells me to get the 2 GB plan. I guess my question is: Has anyone ever been seriously dinged from getting a 2 GB plan & going over? It's just my wife & myself on the plan. Thanks in advance.
  9. Riding to the track is easy. Riding home from the track is easy too, if you don't crash. I rode to & back from my first 2 trackdays (Mid Ohio from North Ridgeville) last June. I'll be going in June again this year. A ride home in the odd instance that you make a mistake is much more important than a ride there. None the less, I hope you have some fun & improve your skills.
  10. I rode without an endorsement for years. Lazyness & jackass on my part. Took the basic MSF course with my wife when she started riding 6 years ago. Now I'm a law abiding citizen. I never lie either.

    Help me please!

Thanks for reminding me it's Mother's day on Sunday. Thanks all for the invites for the Sunday rides I can't ride Mother's day now that I've been reminded. I think I'm just going to head South from Circle K @ Royalton Rd. & 83 at 8 am this Saturday. I plan on doing only about 250 miles or so I can get home fairly early. Anybody else that wants to go is more than welcome. My pace is adaptable. Cheers.

    Help me please!

Sounds good. I've tried the local meet spot (SR83 & Circle K) & ended up solo. Appreciate a post or a PM. Thanks.

    Help me please!

Gloomy doesn't preclude me from riding. Hope to ride with you sometime.

    Help me please!

The weather was good today. It's supposed to be good next weekend. It's certainly not "shitty" when it's 60 degrees plus. Lets get some enthusiasm going here.

    Help me please!

Start your own thread if you like. I just want to go on a good road ride & nobody's stepping up to the plate in NE OH.

    Help me please!

Let's go riding northeast ohio sportbike riders. After the long winter I need to go on a good ride. I'm open 5/7, 5/28, 6/11. I was out local today for a bit & decided I'm definitely going thru twisty withdrawl. What say? Middle of the pack, lead, follow, I don't care. Let's get a Ohio river ride (or at least Coshocton area). (No, I'm not cool enough to have a scooter.)
  17. Since you're gettin' old you need to get a Ducati. My wife's 51 & she's got one.
  18. Welcome back from your furry encounter. Glad you got away unscathed. Loud pipes scare deer (I don't know if this is good or bad but so far it's been good for me.)
  19. Is anyone from Ohio Riders going to Mid Ohio June 6th or 7th? Just asking because I would like to meet some of you in person.
  20. I knew that Harley engines are agriculturally based. He just didn't have the proper accessories for the job at hand.
  21. Thanks for starting the thread 2talltim. At least I know that I won't have to be going to the Harley dealer anytime soon after reading this.
  22. Street riding & track riding require 2 different & slightly overlapping skill sets. The track will take you closer to the limit in the realms of cornering, braking, & acceleration. This is because ,at a given speed of riding, the street requires much more of your attention in dealing with cagers, highly variable traction surfaces, & curves that you haven't memorized (among other things). You could jump in & do a track day your first season of riding but you might be overwhelmed or stuck in a group so slow you might as well be riding on the street. I think it would be better for the new rider to at least ride on the street for a season before heading out to the track. Just my 2 cents.
  23. Heads up on a charity ride/ fundraiser for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The ride (putt) starts out at Rocky River High School at 10 am on June 5th. They're asking for a minimum donation of $35. It's a good cause with 83.9% of the funds going towards the good of the afflicted kids (9.6% management, 6.5% fundraising). Holly & I will be there (Just look for the yellow & black CBR & the red 696 Monster). Hope to see some of you there. Here's the link: http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/events/2011/cleveland.html
