Rode Sunday evening for transport. Possible snow in the forecast today is where I draw the line.

I'd like to. Big charity auction next weekend. In Germany the following weekend. Free after that for a while.

It will probably be a little drier for you tomorrow. I've got to go on an earth day hike, etc, tomorrow with my better half. Today's ride was definitely better than not riding this weekend.

Just curious. I know the weather was not so nice. I managed to put about 100 miles on the odometer today & test out my new rain gear as well. I did see a couple other bikes out there. What about you?

Sounds convoluted. Don't forget to hold the clutch in or pop the bike in neutral when you try this.

I definitely want to see this if at all possible. I'll have to find someone other than my wife to go with. She won't even watch the on bike TT vids on tv because it makes her queasy.

If you've ever had your bike over say 20 mph & gone in anything but a straight line (yes?) you have already been countersteering. You just need to become aware that the bar inputs (push right go right, push left go left) are what is making your bike turn. Once you become aware of this it gets a lot easier to make the bike go where you want to go consistently. Good luck.

Sign up for novice class. They will have instructors & a very controlled environment which is great for improving your skills. Get the race idea out of your head. It's not like that.

Take the MSF course. Watch the video again & pay attention this time. What you said doesn't really reflect what Kieth Code says. Practice doesn't do any good if you don't understand the principles. That is all.

It would be nice if they would pave 555 (or any other of these roads) with blacktop & hold the chipseal. With the state of the state budget I'm not holding my breath on this though.

Glad you made it through this ok. Crashes are usually due to a combination of factors. Hope you learned a little.

Glad you were lucky & are basically ok. A mesh jacket with CE armor is cooler than a thick shirt in more ways than one.
