  1. the ones in your pics are before you replaced them? i can see that the pegs are behind the bolts as to where mine are in front. as for the pipes, i'd have to find replacements. the chrome on the tips is pretty beat. i was going to have the powder coated black so i wasn't to worried about it. I like the pipes just not the dragging. i've thought about raising it up a bit but then i loose some of the cool factor. lol
  2. this will probably my next project.
  3. i do have the jugg huggers. i'm thinkin about getting rid of the exhaust. yours looks as low as mine and i drag pipe on hard right turns. i've shaved down about 1/4 inch off the bottom tip. I love how they look and sound, but for the way i ride it, it kinda sucks. just ask El Capitain, he was behind me when i took a good hit on it. thats the factory seat. and the red on the rims is now gone. covered with black vinyl. looks 100X better. and the emblem is now gone also. replaced with a skull decal. Here's the only photo i got of close to the rear sets. i can take a better one later.
  4. explain the rear pegs? i'd like to do that. and where are your front turns located? (Nevermind, i see them.) up on either side of the rpm cover. i like that. btw... sharp ride.
  5. Yeah the horizontal things on the tank are not appealing but the bike IMHO is complete hotness. To each their own but I own one. I'd rock the socks off that beast. Maybe it's because I'm partial to yamaha and I always wondered what my engine in sport Ike attire would be like. Well o dream no longer. Lol
  6. Why in the hell do we not get these machines of lust? WHY? It's based on the same power plant as my warrior. 1670cc v-twin. specs are here. http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/eu/products/motorcycles/mt-series/mt-01.aspx?view=features
  7. +1 My neighbors dad has one of those he makes the most ribs i have ever had. Period.
  8. i'm where you are right now. Do i sell the warrior and buy a sportbike, or do i keep the warrior and buy a sportbike in the spring? like you, i'm pushing this thing to the edge trying to keep up with my sportbike buddies, but i also have cruiser buddies. decisions decisions. grrr, i would make mad profit on the warrior.
  9. I rolled out of bed and hit the road.
  10. Ride was excellent. No rain and the weather was great. No incidents and great roads. 164 was fresh asphalt but had loose gravel in alot of the corners. Great riding with you guys. We will have to do it again.
