Seriously. I don't think there was even that much, and definitely not anything concrete other than there is no law about it, but you'll probably get a ticket for "something" if they want to pull you over for it.
There is a law about it. It's something like lanes and lines. One motor vehicle per lane. I've talked to a good friend who happens to be a PD Chief. That;s what he told me anyways.

we should ban old people drivers too. i can text, eat a burger and drive all the the same time better than they can drive.
when I was in Cali I have seen people eating soup, folding laundry, changing clothes, ironing...!

IMO texting is MUCH dangerous than eating a burger or changing the station. yes, they are all distractions, but when you are texting and driving, you arent looking at the road. you are pretty much driving blind.
studies show that txting drivers are more impaired than drunk drivers.
I have seen tests to confirm that.
