Looks good, I don't know if I like that headlight though.

Welcome

The gear in the speedo or in the wheel side is worn out most likely. Where the cable connects.

This was my first bike. The guy I sold it to is selling it. Asking $2,000.
-2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250R
-8,600 Miles
-Newer BattleAx BT45's have maybe a 1 or 2k on them I'm guessing.
-Everything seems to be in decent shape except the paint on the tank. When it was repainted it cracked and he used nail polish to seal it up from rusting underneath.
-This bike was wrecked. Someone other than me ran into a wall. I did all the repairs myself and you can hardly notice it, still rides really well.
EDIT: Last year I put a new timing chain tensioner on it and adjusted the valves. This week I will be changing the oil, adjusting and lubing the chain and any other minor stuff it may need.

I'll have it online sometime this evening' date=' I'll just post up the portion that shows me riding thru that curve, slowing up, waiting then turning around to go back to find moose in the grass and the kat in the ditch, I pulled up on that side of the road facing them and left the camera running, you'll see (from a distance) moose floppin around in the grass, Tom and another guy pull the bike out of the ditch and me running around trying to figure where we are as I was callin 911.
The camera ran out of card space before the OHP or squad showed up.[/quote']
That sucks you ran out of space.
Hey don't feel bad about him going down on your ride, shit happens.

Bleed it back wards. Empty the line and reservoir and using a large syringe push fluid from the caliper up to the reservoir.
or
Do it manually. Loosen bleeder, depress pedal, tighten bleeder, repeat.
Speed bleeders don't always work perfectly, they will get "most" of the air out.

When you gonna have the vid up Rosso?

A good locksmith can tell if it's the right key for the bike by the VIN.
Yeah I guess so, but why not for cars or houses? If your gonna verify the legality of it.
-
Yeah, I paraphrased a little.
yuh huh just a little hahaha
How was it wreckless op if a deer ran out in front of you?Jussayin'

unless racing, not needed at all. If you wanna go with the "I'm cool" while sitting at the Rally's, then grab you one and tell your friends why you have it...
We use them at the track due to the fact that the fluid can get hot and seep out of the tiny hole on the reservoir and the wrist band catches the dribbles that come out. Those dribbles will splash up into the windscreen and on your shield... Sucks at speed and is pretty toxic stuff.
Other than that, the UV light idea is not an issue as we bleed brake fluid all the time. The UV won't break it down as fast as it isn't in there long...
Now that makes sense.

they told us it is store policy that they won't copy bike keys for security reasons. Also had 2 smaller hardware stores tell us the same. My buddy ended up ordering one from a yamaha dealer and I said screw it figured one is enough
Huh? How is that different than a car key or house key? I understand them not stocking many but for security reasons sounds weird to me.
They will if you show them the damn registration. What they probably meant was that they didn't want to stock bike keys because they hardly ever sell any.which reminds me, I always have the registration with me and offer it for copying a bike key.
Even that isn't fool proof. I could "swipe" someone's yamaha key and show them the title/registration for my yamaha.

I'm 1/4 Pollock too.
-
we tried 2 sears around here and they won't do bike keys
What? Why?
-
Sears, any hardware store, wal-mart...The key may look a little diff but should work
-
Good deal. Wish I had 200 bucks I'd snatch it right up.

ummm sort of. I love to ride dirt bikes and stuff. Even with the miles iv gotten to far i did pick up some bad habits.. so i guess it was a fresh start. Sux that it was my whole weekend. LAME!!
I enjoyed it. I got to test the limits of someone else's bike without fear of laying it down.

You forgot painting the windshield to match. I also enjoy a smoke cover on the tail light, and tinting the headlight. And hey, just thought of sun shade screening or tinting the mirrors to avoid those annoying bright lights behind me... cool...
HEY! I painted my windscreen flat black (You can't tuck far enough to actually use it anyways. lol
break pads, air filter, break fluid.
