    Ok, since I'm not very knowledgable on this, is it illegal to just draw a weapon on said burgler or would that mean that you caused the situation? Gray area?

    It's nice hosting a website where you can have direct access to the server! Just copy the site across the network, an poof! It's live! Now, I just need to do a total overhaul on what I have... I'm not feeling creative at all though...

    If it's supposed to have a VIN tag on it, and it doesn't have one, or an aftermarket part sticker, they can take that part off and destroy it. The model info, etc... is unimportant. They like to see receipts as well.

    The 3.1 is actually just as reliable as the 3.8, in my opinion. I've seen very catastropnic failures from either one.

    I'm not sure about the 12th. There's the fallen heroes memorial poker run up here (not as much fun, I'm sure, but for the cause) and I haven't mentioned anything to the wife, other than the following week I AM going on the CSBA/Brian Kinney ride.

    I like them. GM's been using them since... Well forever. The stroy I got is that it originated from the old buick V8 which Land Rover eventually bought the design of.

    The main problem I've seen with them is leaky intake manifold gaskets, just as any of the GM's that have coolant going through the intake. I recommend changing the coolant, as the factory fill Dex-Cool is problematic, outside of a perfect world. I like the Peak branded Global extended life stuff.

    I have seen a couple of those engine end up with oiling system failures, but it's not all that common. If it makes any significant rattling noises, don't mess with it.

    The funny thing is that you will probably accomplish more now, than many of us ever will! Your will is strong, that will get you very far!

    It's just a few hundred feet where they're working on the bridge. From Hollander St., almost to Horns Hill Rd, which isn't far. Not sure if they've finished it yet, or not. We rode through there to meet up for Vroddave's ride.

    Nick, I don't think the straps that hold his legs on will be THAT tough. That may be a concern that the group that helps put the bike together can address as it comes together. Also, I don't think he's planning on riding on the edge so much anymore, but his story has proven that bad things can happen, even just turning out of a parking lot. I'm sure your concern is noted, and appreciated. I'm pretty sure Brian has thought of this, and is willing to accept the risk.

    Becuase you suck and I can keep up with you on a 250, except for the straights! Naw, not really... I can't back that up... Seriously though, I consider myself fortunate to ride with the groups that I have so far. I have learned a LOT from following others, seeing how they take the turns, and realize that the bike will do more than I am ready to let it do (except for speed, I mean 85 is not that fast...) all at a pace where I didn't feel out of control, yet felt I was riding a little harder than a typical trip around the block. I can see the benefits of doing a track day to learn to push it more, in a controlled environment. Maybe I will be able to do this sometime.
