  1. And like new silicon tit's SSD's are expensive. It's not a bad idea to have a copy of stuff archived off-site as well. DVD's in a safe deposit box, a safe at a family member's home, etc... What's the thought on these subscription based online services such as carbonite that I see advertized?
  2. Anything that you don't want to lose, pics, docs, etc... should be on AT LEAST 2 devices. My pictures are all on my laptop where I work with them, most of them are copied on to my desktop. All the computers in the house are automatically backed up daily to the Windows Home Server. That makes 3 copies, along with most of the photos also being in the shared folder of the home server. Some are even copied over to the wife's laptop! The biggest issue with this is keeping th eorganization all the same across everywhere.
  3. We have a winnar!!!! Tell them what he's won! NOTHING! You are one fart smeller, I mean smart feller though!
  4. and get back in the kitchen… Or in the car headed to Chipotle… Too bad it's too late, they're closed.
  5. I typed that I was eating a burrito from Chipotle!

Jbot, or Kosmo? No, he's not just kidding. I can't stand when someone turns out to the right, in front of me, nothing coming after me, then 1/4 mile down the road stop to make a left. This has happened to me a lot!
  7. And your opinion sucks, even if I agree with you this time.
  8. Holy shyt! I did not know that you existed outside of Facebook anymore! If you were out this way, there'd be lotsa ready to come out and help you, even if you are off the market....
  9. Easy guy! Bragging about having plenty of cash does not get you anywhere here, neither does the size of your.......bike. You have a ZX14 or a Busa and you can't turn, you have a 250 and the engine sounds like someone's cooling fan. I know you've probably (I hope) worked hard for all that you have, it's just not cool to most on here (from what I've seen) to brag about it. Care to share some of that cash so I can get a bigger bike?
  10. Our TIG welder has a "finger control" and I can't hardly weld with it. At my old job, I welded aluminum from time to time, but it rarely looked as good as what you have there!
  11. Ah crap.... I have to agree with Todd here, and I just hate doing that, he argues really well, and without emoticons. Do I break the speed limit? More often than I should. Triple digits? Not on my slow bikes!
  12. 1.8 miles each way. Before I moved to where I am now, it was about 24 miles each way, and took over 30 minutes, for 2 of us, since we both work different schedules. I sort of miss the "downtime" I would have in the car, with little cell coverage so the phone wasn't ringing, and listening to the radio, or other music, but time with the family is now more important to me.
  13. Away with you, enginerd...... I think he has enough power to overcome that "loss."
  14. Winnar! In a thread of nothin but fail.
  15. And fra-jeee-lay they are! Where the fuck are the titanium balls? I want to see if they match the set I have hanging.
  16. Wow, I need to find a new job. I need one that will allow me time to keep up with the R&R section! Oh, and fragile, cardboard Ducati FTW!
  17. Check out the beginning of this thread for the Facebook page, the address is there.

  19. This is getting good! Is she posting baby belly pics yet?
  20. 16 and counting now! It's all about the tags.....
  21. I agree with you, in spirit. Flat out disobeying the rules is a problem. Doing something to get the rules changed, attending school board meetings, peaceful protests (not during school time where you should be learning) and stuff like that is great. If the students don't like the rules, they still ahve to follow them. Or can I use this argument if I run a stoplight because I don't think they should have put one there? I should attend a council meeting and make a case for why it should be removed. The thick line between standing up and disobeying is exactly what some of the comments are suggesting they will have their kids cross, because they don't like it.
  22. I sent you a small contribution. If you need any help when it comes time to put it all together, I am willing to help!
  23. You trying to sell that already?
