  1. Damn, I always seem to skip over that first step! I couldn't tell you how many airbags I've pulled without disconnecting the battery! I'm sure it's several hundred, and I haven't heard of hardly any that have deployed for that reason. With that said, I do not advise skipping any of the safety precautions. Did both airbags blow? If so, you have to replace both for either one to work. Some systems require the airbag module (computer) to be replaced at the same time. Something in the software will not let the system function again after deployment. As for advice, I have to agree with what many are already saying about learning financial responsibility. I WISH I could geet a grasp on it! Seriously. Live below your means now (less than you make) so that later you can live it up! Save now to be wealthy later.
  2. Who put a dent in Ohio? Seriously though, I hope the rider is ok!
  3. True story: Today I was headed in to Kroger on the bike, I waved at a Harley passing in the other direction. As they got closer, I realized they weren't going to see me because they were looking down and behind the bike, must've been looking for parts falling off the thing?
  4. When I started riding last year, birds are one thing I didn't think of, until I had a few close calls with them flying in my space.....

Today, while I'm at work. Maybe another time. At least I can run around the block (country miles!) at lunch!
  6. I hear he goes ATM as your smiley shows there.....
  7. Now that's funny stuff, right there! Both funny "odd", and funny "haha"!!! Glad you survived it though. My only bird story is a barely missed story, so not worth telling other than it scared the poo right down my leg...
  8. There are a few dangerous hooligan's out there on 2 wheels, that's for sure. I hope and pray that hearing of fatalities help them to do the right thing and ride responsibly. I HATE to hear of another rider dying doing what we all love. RIP Rider.
  9. There it is! We have our proof! OsuMJ IS a girl!
  10. Did it hurt when your hand hit the door panel, or did you raise your hand up and out the window? No, I did NOT click the link. You told me what it was, so I had no need to look. You can look at the thread on my computer tomorrow, the link is still the default, not clicked link color.

  13. No, I think it's all Pauly on that.
  14. Pretty much all of the above. OBD2 was REQUIRED in 1996, however the laws governing it were the clean air act (ammendmants) of 1990 and some of the changes to transistion to it started showing up around 1993-1994. Here's some info pertaining to the EPA's clean air act as it applies to moving sources (cars, trucks, motorcycles, airplanes, etc....) Clean Air Act Why the EPA website sends to Cornell's website is beyond me....
  15. The only one out in there is the one OUT OF THERE!
