I have experience with the grease trick, but it was on tool box drawer handles. That own't work so well now that we all wear gloves at work. The candle wax drain pulg would be for the REALLY pissed.

My first pair of M/C gloves (First gear brand, at that! I's so punny!) are more of a cold weather glove, and my fingertips got cold the other day when I rode in the freezing cold. I can see why people get heated gloves or grips. I wonder how well hand warmer packets would do....

Wimp! Ride it when it's COLD out, at least once! I tell ya, a couple gear improvements, and I would ride in the cold more. It's just tough to get myself to go through gearing up enough for the cold with only a couple miles to go for my daily commute (1.8 each way.)
