want a good time read some of the comments to that story in my first post
Looks like the comments got pulled. NNCO is bad about that. They do it on The Newark Advocate site all the time. People out in the general public can't handle hearing much other than they WANT to hear, or want to believe. It really pisses me off, becaus ethere are many times some good discussions going, until someone gets offended.... :monkeypoo:on NNCO Gannett...

lol, the kid was 18 who cares??
Teacher/student relationships.

I agree and disagree with most of your statement. I pay my cable bill and as an adult I should be able to watch "Gangbang Theatre" at 10am if I so choose. As a parent I monitor and decide what is or isn't kid safe in my home. If the little ones are home and watching TV with me, I obviously won't be watching Colleen does Columbus, but by my choice not their lack of programming.
The technology of the "V" chip is an amazing and wonderful thing if parents take the time to use it.
Once the little rugrats get to where they're changing channels on their own and all, the V-chip WILL be getting use. I used it back when I had a lazy ass, leeching roommate bafore just to lock out ALL programming from him!

Pics to protect other kids from her, that is, ya know....

You go and post something like this when it's about over with? This looks to be a very addictive game!

Well, here it is, I'm looking for something part time, evenings, or mainly weekends. I cannot interfere with my current job, I just need an income boost for a while. I'm applying at the typical stuff in the area, just wondering is anybosy knows of anything better than stocking shelves, or flipping burgers. I've been looking at the job websites, and there are SO many full time jobs, but very few part time. Warehouse, mechanical, industrial, whatever. Ideas?

So I'm NOT the only one who skips town and then comes back
Looks like quite a few over the past couple days!

There is a great amount of advice given and taken from this site. This guy chose to get all pissed off when people tried to tell him the right way to go about things, such as getting things legal, ins, etc.... Then they let him know that wheelies are not a good idea for a noob, and that getting good at riding first would be his best idea. Had he not offered up the info that he was un-insured, not endorsed, and the bike wasn't even in his name, had someone elses tags on it, I dount there would have been an issue. He opened himself up for what he got by being dumb enough to tell people how dumb he really was.

Ha, never heard about that. . . I hope they don't!
Edit: Just did some quick Googling, the 5gb cap currently only applies to tethering. Data to your device only is unlimited, seems they had a court case over it at some point. Can't call it unlimited if they cap it.
Hmm....Interesting... Maybe they just start throttling people back if they're placing undue burden on the network? I think Comcast does this, and Time Warner was talking about it, never heard anyting more about TW, and I haven't noticed it happening....
-
Funny, on VZW I thought they capped it at 5GB per month.....at least that's what I was told by the CSR.
I think it's just that they CAN cap it. Sprint is that way, and I would imagine the others are, also.

If this passes' date=' which it won't, it cannot be enforced. Ohio doesn't have the budget/manpower to enforce a law like this. They can't even keep drunk drivers off the road, let alone catch all the speeding motorcycles. Ohio just had an 8th, or 9th, DUI violator kill someone with their car. He was in between convictions and was waiting for the courts to suspend his license. [/quote']
Scary. Some people never learn, and should be locked up. Seriously, how many times does it take?
This legislation is a big waste of time..and I'm all for government wasting time. This way they aren't passing seriously damaging laws.I never looked at it that way, makes sense! Or, they could get busy doing something useful, like finding a way to reduce spending?

I'm tired of stupid breeders trying to censor my behavior just so they can avoid teaching their screaming crotchlings about the real world. It's not my job to raise other people's children.
I'm sick of this 'family-friendly' nonsense. All it seems to accomplish is creating young adults with absolutely no experience or guidance in dealing with actual people.
If people want to raise their kids in a fucking closet, they should do so, and stop trying to turn real life into Sesame Street.
Fuck 'em, with a flaming pineapple.
Somebody had a bad experience with Mr Rogers.....
I happen to agree. Just not with as pissed off of a tone. Too many "parents" want the school, community, other parents, or anyone else to raise their kids. Sorry! It doesn't work that way!
-
Was that log that these clogs came from near a bog?
-
I raise my kids as "do what I say, not what I do". Before anyone calls this hypocritical hear me out. I drive a car, however my kids know they have to be of age and get licensed to do so. I can drink a beer, however they know that they need to be 21 years of age to do so.
Exactly. The same goes for some behaviors, too. You know better, you're trying to teach them better. Once they're old enough (out of the house) to fend for themselves, they can do as they please, just hope that you've taught them well by that point.

I don't bother with the web on my phone, too small of a screen when I have the laptop with me all the time, anyway!
I used a little bit of data when doing phone as modem, but think they crippled the phone with firmware to where it won't do it anymore.

Wow!!!
-
Isn't that a bit redundant?
I guess I'm just not as sarcastic as usual this morning, and was holding that part back.... But yes, I believe they are the same thing.
-
How are they even going to find the NOS, drop the tank and test the gas?
That only works on Gixxers.... And only for squids...

The world is meeting in Copenhagen soon to discuss The USA having to pay reparations to the rest of the world for producing all the CO2 that has made their world such a bad place to live and to create a one world government to oversee this problem.
The whole freakin world has been conned!!!!!!!!
Greatest Hoax in the history of the world....... LMAO
If they think there's too much CO2, they need to quit breathing! Jussayin'.

I know a guy that has a 3-legged dog. No, it's not a hind leg missing, he has to pee like a female dog. The interesting thing is how fast that dog can run!
Ya know Curby, that incident has some major humor potential, if you had video, and it didn't injure the little guy so badly.
-
You've been hit by the "OG"!!!!
-
Sleep? WHat's that?
The last time I slept well was when I had the flu last month, and that doesn't count because I was still tired after about 3 days straight of little more than sleep. Took 2 more days to get to where I could go to work.
What kind of dog? (this EASILY gould have been another "OG" thread, and legit at the same time....)

I don't see it passing anyway. It seems to me that it's just another attempt at wringing the life out of us, turning us into drones.... Uh, oh. Twice in 12 hours that I've used that drone reference....
dear god this is exactly what we need........

Read it. I don't like the forums after they redesigned the sites. I used to be an active poster on the Newarkadvocate forums, but after the redesign, I quit.
Anyway, I also wonder why the SO is involved in a school issue? If the student had been under age, ok, but it was an incident outside of the school, both people are adults. Let the school system take care of it internally, that's where the issue is, a breach of trust, and improper conduct. Nothing illegal, move on SO!
