  1. That's just a poor design.
  2. I've had more trouble with a quick impact breaking bleeder screws. I have a few tricks for bleeder screws. One is slowly applying just enough pressure to get them loose. If they feel as though they're not going to loosen, I have this: Break Free that I use in an air hammer. I have never used the Brake Free for that purpose so far, though.
  3. You guys sound like a f'in broken record. But that's all cool, since it's true!
  4. With all due respect: If you guys are "stripping" the heads of bolts (rounding them off?) I'm gonna say that you need to buy a torque wrench because you're tightening them too tight, or better sockets and wrenches that fit the bolts better. I do this stuff for a living (on cars) and very seldom round off any bolts (other than exhaust bolts, and I have tricks for those from the start.)
  5. You should run a wire to the control side of the relay, and let the relay do the higher current switching. The relay is probably controlled by a negative output from the ECU. You can run a negative (ground) wire to your switch, then from the switch to the relay. If I had a diagram or the bike, I could help you out with more specifics.
  6. Finally, someone asked the RIGHT question! +rep
  7. Gee, this thread makes me glad that neither my wife or myself had squat when we got married, and have little more now! Yay for being "poor"!
  8. 1982-1986 4cyl Camaro and Firebird. Still better than a Tiburon, anyway.
  9. Call Ben was going to be my response, and I see that's how it got fixed!
  10. I think we have a winner! Photo of the year?
  11. This guy speaks the truth! Although, I ride a 250, so what would I know of fast?
  12. Have you talked to the people at the lunch stop? I can "warn" them one day this week if you'd like, since I'll probably grab lunch there one day. (Nice "perk" of the new job!)
  13. I love discussing the threads of he banned past!
  14. This. Wait, I really don't care, I use the Kroger brand version of Shedd's Spread most of the time.
  15. Rep for that hilarity! I was browsing through the R&R section earlier and at least 4 of those came to mind, along with Todd#43!
  16. It's all fine here...
  17. There was supposed to be something in the the works, or being looked into for supporters to have more rep to give out...
  18. Finally! Found something that Likwid's good for!
  19. Sorry, next time I'll use this with it:
  20. Uncle pink is out of his cage again...
  21. I agree with the first part, and I'm saddened that it has come to the second part.
