Ah yes... Remembering back to the first real ride. Rode over to Iron Pony in the rain with a helmet that was way old, and way too big that I was borrowing. Came home with a new (cheap) helmet and a pair of gloves (was using mechanics gloves) and a big relief that I had made a trip into the big city and back without incident! Chevysoldier was with me, had a few weeks of experience on me at that time! Now when I go over there, I just take the freeway instead of back roads.

It's won't be long until you're having troubles keeping it down close to speed limit. Well, other than on the freeway, then you'll be trying to keep up! (Not really, but don't even try it until you have some miles!)

You work on cars for a living? You must be one broke mofo! Work has been so hit and miss here that I can't keep caught up on bills.20 hours one week, 55+ the next, then a couple more 20 hour weeks is KILLING my budget. I think you could pull it off!

Begin broken record post... One of my co-workers recently bought a 2002-is ZX12R, lowered, stretched, bling lights, NOS, etc... Engine is definitely not stock. He took it to Brian (after we had to shake out a problem) and got a pretty decent increase in power (169.7 I think was the final number) and the owner said it runs a LOT better! I will continue to send people to DTM! end broken record post.

You're saying that about someone that you don't know? I'm fairly confident in saying that I have rode with some people on this forum that coule hand your ass to you. I ride a Ninja 250 and can corner better than several people on bigger bikes. I get razzed for riding a 250, but I am never excluded. Let me just inform you that the brutal crowd has not posted in this thread. These guys are just having fun!

Sounds like a WIN to me! I have to backup the comment about building a PC. The one I'm using right right now would probably be over $1k, and I have about $700 in it, including a copy of Windows.

Meh... I work on them all. They all have their problems. I just like that they all break, giving me something to do!
