  1. No. But the second you enter your vehicle you had better be unloaded (including magazines) because a loaded weapon in a vehicle (even on a motorcycle) is considered concealed. If you have your CHL, you can enter the vehicle and be fine.
  2. Head toward the courthouse. Drive around back to the south side of the square, they're about halfway down. MT has the menu choice right. Add extra cheese, and get a plate of nachos, too. You should know your own type of food... If you don't find it on the menu, the midget spelled it wrong. Sopapilla is what you want.
  3. I think I posted the one last year, but I didn't participate. I'm thinking about it this year.

  5. What cdub said... No, I'm not affiliated, just sharing it, in case anyone is interested. Agreed. :plus1: I noticed the WB gift card and thought that's something I'd have to sell for a lower value to get rid of it. I don't think I would go into their store after the midget's fiasco.
  6. http://www.facebook.com/gitrgun Some cool prizes. Supports the Licking Valley High School athletic boosters.
  7. My 40D has been shipped from Canon service. Should arrive tomorrow. I'm a bit excited!
  8. :plus1: for Sigma when it comes to third party lenses. I have a couple in Canon EF mount. One is the 24-70 EX, the other is the 70-200 EX. The only complaint I have with them is the "wrinkle coating" finish on the 70-200 is coming off, which is common for them.
  9. Looks like Magz is out, then! Seriously though, I bet Magz would be a good instructor.
  10. Look up silverfox, I believe she has done it. Edit: the_silverfox is her screenname.
  11. How long was it from the time of the class to get the CHL? Wasn't there a time limit that they talked about? I haven't seen anything in searching. I'm to the comfort level that I'm ready to get my CHL, I just want to make sure that they'll take what I have from last year.

    Banks

I just opened 2 savings accounts with Chase and the banker I dealt with was doing everything he could to get me around their fees. Basically, I'd rather pay a few $ a month for a savings account linked to my checking account to avoid overdraft fees, which is $34 each hit. I know about overdraft fees. I'm glad I have that taken care of!
  13. Ooo... Nice catch! Paging Casper...
  14. Bottom one in the first set, without the wheel, and with the sprocket or rotor added to it. The wheel just doesn't look quite right. Maybe put a little scowl on the dog's face, showing a few teeth, instead of the wheel? No matter what, get the dog's ears down out of the text! You need your name to be seen!
  15. The XDS does sound nice, but as the others have said, no need for .45 in something that small. I think Springfield is missing it by releasing everything in .45 first.
  16. Yeah, I've pretty much figured that one out!
  17. Jealousy. Sounds like Rolo needs to help out some of the OR phtogs with a "class" on this stuff!
  18. I sort of mentioned that: http://www.ohioriders.net/showpost.php?p=789695&postcount=17 How is the used inventory there these days? I haven't been in there in a few years. I might be in the market for some stuff sometime fairly soon. Somebody has to use the inferior products. Without competition, the good stuff wouldn't get better!

    First gun

Nah, I don't need to hang with little people to make me feel bigger.
  20. Getting older and don't like to get cold and wet. For the record, I don't have a truck, just a Honda Pilot. It's 4wd or awd or something like that.
  21. It's kind of tough to sell anything Mac around here, since we don't have a Mac dealer in the area. We've had 3 in about 6 years. They don't stick around, and we've been about a year without someone coming around. You'd think that being within a couple miles of their corporate headquarters we could get some service! /rant List the tools that go with it, I may be able to sell this for you.
  22. While you're out digging around in the dark, possibly in the snow or mud, the guys with the "complicated" system are wheeling on down the road! Actually, I like the manual transfer case of the older Chevy's with the front axle actuator. Still don't have to get out to lock in the hubs, but have a LOT fewer electrical parts to fail. From a technician's view, I like the electronic stuff. It gives me more work!
