The one with my bike is a marked named f'ing State Highway. Talked to an old dude coming out and he said no f'ing way. It was 45 miles to black top and a mess. So back out the glorious road we went. Now working our way around to our hotel in Arizona. About 2 hours to go on an actual paved road.

Then 45 miles of glorious roads. Some of the best I have ever been on. Until we got to these two choices.

We are in the middle if no where. Not seeing any cars...no cops nothing So, turned back 8 miles to get gas at some general store.

This is going to take a few posts to get the pics right to tell the story. Left T or C and 40 miles later I saw this, with 60 miles burned on my 180 tank.

Just finished the first run across Gila. Silver City to Truth or Consequences. Think 60 mile long Warwoman with much more elevation change. Only had to pass one car, no cops. Quick snack break then about 150 back across to Arizona.

So yea, just checked the total miles we have gone so far. 2300, just over half way.

Sure are a lot of old hippies in New Mexico. Fuckers are everywhere. One of them did make a cool bike rack.

We just blasted through any way. Size does matter!!

So today was a triple digit run to El Paso, then a quick stop at a vap store cuz I dropped it at a buck ten. Hit the National Park north of there and made our way to Silver City New Mexico. We are on the south end of the mountains and Gilia National Park. Gonna be a great riding day tomorrow. And booked a really cool 1930's hotel downtown.

Put it in a higher gear but at a really low rpm/speed and go WOT. You will know for sure right away...it will slip like bitch if it's bad.

Oh my, I may be moving to Texas.

We are in Fort Stockton now. Today we blasted across from Austin via back roads. Found Lyndon Johnson's house by accident. He is already dead @NinjaDoc so you can't pin that on me. Twisted Sisters pretty much lived up to the hype. 3 30 mile long stretches full of twisties and scenery. Great weather, some heavy wind as we got to Fort Stockton. So, pics....a Kennedy getting on Air Force One, pig flying out of my ass and LBJ's house. And my shirt.

Np, our schedule that day was pretty tight. We got pics and bolted pretty quickly.

The bats were awesome. No way you can get a pic that shows what is going on..
