  1. I need to go underwear shopping.
  2. Well shit, there are a ton of websites for this http://wfh.ninja/ http://www.randomexcusegenerator.com/ Hell, there is even an excuse generator for Casper. http://programmingexcuses.com/
  3. You should publish it. I am sure lots of folks could use the info.
  4. So as many of you know, Brian is quite creative when coming up with excuses for not going to OR events. The Cleveland IMS show is coming up and it occurred to me that he might be running out of ideas. So this thread is a place we can all add excuses for him to use. He can easily bookmark it and refer back to it in the future. They don't need to be IMS specific. I have a couple: 1) The dog ate my tickets to the IMS show so I can't go. 2) I found a great deal on a bike/Vette/Top Gun Poster on Craigslist and I need to go look at it. But I will be back soon with an excuse on why I didn't buy it.
  5. Your current mental state/health is a result of the accident. The at fault driver is responsible for that. Check and see if you can get professional help on their dime. I think it really could help you.

    Well, I tried.

So last night I was at an ATM and hit it up for 60 bucks. It gave me a hundred. Receipt said 60. Now I honestly think some dumbass left 40 behind because I notice that there was 40 there in the bin pretty quick then the 60 showed up. But either way it wasnt mine so today I called them. After 30 minutes of phone menu hell and 2 callbacks I said fuck it. Gonna spend the 40 on lap dances at the spring OR get together in Windsor.
  9. Yea, its been closed along time. Doubt it will ever be duplicated.
  10. The best, off the charts. Jason's in Windsor will never be equaled.

You are golden, you all look the same.
  13. Ok, I have better details and I will provide total ironclad details when I post the paypal address when tickets go on sale. Going on sale apx Feb 1. Tickets will be 10 bucks each, with only 1500 tickets available. Winner will have the choice of one of three prizes, 2nd place gets choice of the remaining two items and third places gets whatever is left over. Prizes will be the aforementioned Cav's tickets, a nice laptop, and decent sized flat screen TV.
  14. If you only have one location but a decent link to the net then Scott's answer is the way to go. Do it during off hours. Use one of the cloud backup services. Carbonite and Mozy come to mind first for a small business. Simple, reliable and reasonably inexpensive. A hard drive attached to a computer that you swap out and carry around is a bad idea for many reasons. You will forget, you will drop it or some crack head will steal it out of your car when you stop for beer on the way home. As for frequency, weekly is also a bad idea. If you need this backup, it is going to be because something really bad happened. You don't want to add to that by having to say "It's going to take a week to rebuild our network and then we will also lose a weeks worth of data, so ummm yea this is basically a two week loss for the company'. That would be a resume generating event, as it should be. Neither Mac Automator or Time Machine are acceptable for this job. If you go cloud you will get software from them for this. If you have multiple locations speak up, then my answer changes.

The decocker isn't a safety also? Never seen one that wasn't, but I certainly have not seen them all.

He won't burn your bags, he wants the money more than he wants to punish you for pointing out the truth.
  17. Ok Brian, I think this will work. We can easily get 10 or 25 per person from OR peeps for this. Hell, I am in for a hundy. But it has to be a real strip club, up on stage with blaring music, wild lights and a stripper pole and in front of the general public. Women.....men we dont care.
  18. I would pay to see that.
  19. Shit, very sorry man.
  20. He is a developer. They make stuff that sorta works most of the time. Tradionally they then pass it off to some like me, a system engineer. We fix it up and make it reliable. Casper skipped the last step and here we are.
  21. Did anyone else get a stiffy reading that part, or just me?
  22. I saw Plastic Surgery Man get banned last year. He has two floor seats, right on the out of bounds line in front of these seats. The ball went out of bounds and he picked it up, walked out on to the court and gave it to LeBron.
  23. I work for a school district. It is to raise money so we can advertise and campaign for a levy. It's a weird setup, when a school wants to ask for more money we are not allowed to spend any of the districts money to advertise the levy. I get why but it is kinda screwed up at the same time. And this levy is a perfect example. The state has offered us 70 percent of the cost to replace all of our buildings except the High School which is only 4 years old. Our buildings certainly need replacing. Now getting the 30 percent from the local taxpayers is COMPLETELY up to the voters, as it should be. It is their kids, their money and their schools. We just run it as best we can with what they give us and keep them informed of their options. With the state offering us this great of a deal, we would be remiss in our duties if we didn't tell the voters. Yet we can't use any district money to even send a letter to the voters. So we raise our own money, mostly from ourselves. We have parties, raffles and some of us make a deduction from our paychecks each pay. Imagine if where you worked you had to kick back part of your pay to advertise your companies products. That is where we are at. Again, I get it. No tax dollars to ask for more tax dollars. But that means we don't communicate things as well as needed to the taxpayers.
