  1. And Gemma saw the tattoo, he's as good as dead

Yea, that surprised me. She had him...back turned to her...completely unaware that she was there and the gun pointed at his head and she let him go. My wife was sitting on the couch screaming SHOOT...SHOOT...SHOOT.

  2. I'm still having a hard time with the fact that Henry Rollins one of the most outspoken people in the world is playing a white supremacist.

Don't think you will have to think about Henry much longer on that show. SAMCRO saw him get out of the van that blew up, he is a dead man.

  3. I vote for Sedona, AZ. But dont actually stay in Sedona, stay 10 miles up the road in Camp Verde. You can rent a bike and you have to ride rte 89A. The cities of Jerome, Prescott and Flagstaff is nice. And eat pizza in Scottsdale at a place called Pizza Picaso...If you do the Vegas thing, Red Rock Canyon is only about 15 miles away, and Hoover Dam is close.

Yep, when I suggested Pheonix and said lots of places to drive to Sedona was one of the places I had in mind. Sedona is awesome. Some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen and an awesome town with lots of stuff to do. This is from Sedona...everywhere you look it looks like this:

  4. Was definitely thinking about Vegas, but it's a bit crazy for us... we like low-key, no people, do our own thing... so Vegas would work but we'd have to get out of the city for the majority.

Just had another idea. Sacremento. Cheap Southwest Airlines flights to there just go through Chicago or Phoenix. Short hop from there to the mountains.

Also Phoenix, it was one of the best trips the wife and I have done. Drive up to the grand canyon is easy (but damn cold in the winter). But there is tons of stuff to do and see within driving distance of Phoenix with out the grand canyon.

  5. Hey, I need some suggestions. I need to get out of Ohio for a week this winter. Looking for some vacation ideas that a.) won't break the bank b.) are warm and c.) could rent a motorcycle

    Come on OR, whatchu got?

Vegas. Cheap hotel/air fare packages. Motorcycle rentals in Vegas are very reasonable. Then you get to drive the mountains...hover dam....some awesome national parks......party some in Vegas itself.

  6. tyvm for the link. I have been waiting to see what the 10's look like and what they changed before I decide on a 10 or a 9. I missed that the info had been released. I would rep you but Casper is 'enhancing' it!

Of course my interests are different that everyone else in this thread, I am deciding on which Voyager. The Blue 09 is really nice looking, I like it better than the red on the 10. Will have to see the silver/blue 10 in person. But a '10 it will be because they fixed the heat issue on the right side it looks like. That was a big deal on the 09's, so big a deal if you look at the 'new for 2010' list it is actually on there.

Again, tyvm for the heads up and I now return you your regularly scheduled sport bike thread.

  7. i wonder what the value of my bike is

That is going to be the interesting part, I don't know how they take into account a salvage title. I am not even sure they will know. You do not have to accept their offer on the spot, you can sleep on it, ponder it and call them back and negotiate....

  8. the bike already has a salvage rebuilt...so u think they will cut me a check and give me the optio to buy it back?> thats all im worried about is buying the thing back i love that bike

They will give you two offers. One for them taking the bike, and one for you keeping the bike. So to use made up numbers......

    1) They think the bike is worth 5,000 and the damages are 6,000. They will offer you 5000 and they get the bike.

    2) They think they can sell the bike for scrap for 1,000. So they will offer you the chance to keep the bike and they will give you 4,000.

    Again, made up numbers.

  9. Am finding out the hard way that corporate America's HR is no longer interested in simple employment verification tasks....

They do it that way now to avoid the liability if something goes wrong in the verification process. If the info is wrong or leads to a damage claim the company they hire to do it is on the hook. Doesn't make it right, or a good idea as it appears you have experienced...just pointing out why.
