SO! I have an awesome, true story for my CR Bros! I'm out here in sunny Monterey, California. I made a post recently about how I didn't know where to watch the game. I was alone this morning, with no cable, and thus no where to watch the game in HD. I didn't feel like going out and having to take a cab back, or leaving my dogs alone. So I watched the game on an online steam, at home, alone. Periodically I would let out a scream in joy, or displeasure as our defense would fuck up a routine play. Cut to the end of the game as I'm screaming in immense joy! Mind you, I've never met my neighbors. I haven't even been entirely sure there's anyone over there, they're always so quiet and they keep their windows covered up like some weirdo Twilight fans. Given the fact that I'm at the Defense Language Institute, this (the Twilight fan theory) is entirely possible. There's about 26 seconds left in the game. I'm having a gay old time, my pups are all weirded out because I'm hopping around the house (duplex) like a mad man, and there's a knock at the door. I think to myself, "Oh shit, I've been inconsiderately loud", better quiet down. So I answer the door, and to my surprise, it's 2 cops greeting me. I apologize about the noise and they inform me that that's not the problem. They got a call for domestic abuse, and had to check on it. Yes...domestic abuse. I get my dogs in their cages and let the cops in to inspect the "scene". When they relize that I'm the only person home and that I was simply watching THE GAME, they begin laughing to themselves about how stupid this call was. Shortly thereafter, a 3rd car rolls up and its' driver comes to the door. They shoo him off quickly. I would just like to thank my neighbors for being a couple of weird anti-social tawts that haven't taken the time to come introduce themselves, despite the fact that I wasn't even sure ANYONE lived over there. Fuck *ichigan, GO BUCKS!

That really is about my only option near by. I'm restricted to about 5 miles around my base (training status, so I have to get a special form in advance if I want to go away). I'll be by myself as my wife has to work, that's why I was hoping someone knew a way to watch it online.

So here I am, stationed in California. I don't have cable, and can't seem to pick up local channels at all (maybe California doesn't do that any more? I don't know, but I've tried on 2 TVs), does any one have any advice on how I should watch the game? I've tried some really low quality streams, so that'll be my last resort. Also I watched last week's game on Watch ESPN. Which worked great, but it doesn't look like it's gonna be on there this weekend. Thanks for any help!

I had heard maybe close to 2 years ago that there was some talk of them coming, just rumors. I think it was them and a couple other ACC teams (UNC/VA/VATECH), but then the whole UNC/VA/VATECH rumors had more meat to them and the Florida State rumor died down.

I prefer a stock android experience...that said, I'm currently running a Touchwiz based ROM on my Galaxy S4. But you can still download and give the new Google Experience Launcher a try. It's basically what KitKat on the new Nexus 5 looks like and is kind of neat. I think you can still use your Samsung Touchwiz widgets with it. Edit: I forgot to say (it's probably in the link I posted), but you can download and try this out on a stock phone, no root or wizardry required. I remember a 2008 Buckeye team that got throttled at USC that went on to play a Texas team that many thought was one of the best teams in the country. And while they didn't win, they played a pretty damn good game. I think with this coaching staff, we can line up with anyone on any given Saturday.

I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do out here in California, and this is my main concern with going internet only. I'm pretty limited as far as my options go, and it seems like all the ISP's in my area have caps.

Finally picked up my Jeep yesterday! Has all of the options I wanted, except for the 3.73 axle ratio. Plus it came with the Rubicon wheels. I was actually getting 22mpg on the drive back from the dealership, going a pretty consistent 72mph. So I was pleasantly surprised with that. Hate to hear that. It really makes me think of all the incredibly stupid shit I used to do. I already have a totally different outlook on things, I can't imagine what it would be like to have kids and have to worry about stuff like this.

So I lied. I took my deposit back from the dealership. Found another dealership that was able to get me basically the same price on a silver Sport with all the same options +Rubicon wheels and tires. I'll probably have to wait until next weekend (I've got a test this week. Trying to learn Persian Farsi is a bitch) to pick it up though.

I'm stuck out here at a military base (Presidio of Monterey) without a car. And I'm like 70 miles from where my Jeep is. My wife gets out here on Tuesday, so I may end up having to wait for her to get here to take me to go pick it up. I'm getting pretty antsy.
