ah yes, i need to clarify what i said. when i say open wastegate, i dont mean that its open as opposed to closed, i mean it dumps to atmosphere. that way its super quiet whenever you want/need it to be, then when you floor it it sounds gnarly as fuck. for an internal gate like his, this isnt an option. straight pipes blow though.

open wastegate > straight pipe.

what a fucking dumbass. did he seriously think he was gonna lift it 7 feet and THEN slide it in and get it to spline? jesus christ! also, why didnt he LOWER THE LIFT!?

this is a repost. supposedly his lugnuts were tightened, he was given the wrong nuts with his new wheels. they were standard instead of metric, so they fit but didnt hold. He was a veteran autocrosser. it sucks.

supposedly the shop gave him standard lugnuts, not metric. so they fit and he DID torque them down with a torque wrench, there were witnesses to this. however, they didnt stay on because they were the wrong size. He was a veteran autocrosser and not an idiot. This is all what ive heard, i dont see how you could get any lugnut torqued down without realizing it was wrong. i guess it was just a really close standard size? i dunno. it really sucks though.

a long ago i heard of a system that you can buy that detects a police cars GPS signal or something that it sends out. It can display on a screen a map along with where all the police cars are. Also, its illegal, and might not even exist because ive only heard rumors. i want one though.

this is the second time the police have shut them down, last time they some how got out of it though, claimed it was all a 'bank error'. right.

im interested to see how this goes. im still stickin by my original assumption though, i doubt you get much of anything out of it. BUT, please let us know what they want from you and what you get in return so you can shut me up if necessary.
