  1. I have come into a huge lot of vintage cycle mags, dating back to the mid 70s. If anyone has an old bike, and would like a magazine with the original road test , and review of their bike, let me know what bike you've got, and I will go through my stash. All magazines are in very good shape also.
  2. I want to resize my killboy shot for my avatar. Anyone know the process of doing so?
  3. stay hydrated is the biggest thing I can tell you. Wear ear plugs also. This really helps my fatigue levels stay down, mentally, and I think much clearer than if I don't wear them. Lock your luggage as stated by I.P. Just take your time, and enjoy the ride. Stop when you feel the need. If your slabbing a bunch, change position on the bike regularly to keep from stiffening up. -oldschool
  4. i could watch danny ride for days... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RjCflD2nbw
  5. I dropped my Cbr in my moms driveway. The driveway Is sloped and I tried to turn around and it started to tip. I just sorta hopped off and let it go !
  6. I'd say your technique is wrong. I've never found a bike that wouldn't shit smooth using the clutch. It may be at a different RPM point than your old bike, but its there somewhere. The clutch is there for a reason IMO. My sprint ST's sweet spot was 4-5k. My fz1's sweet spot is 5-6k. Just depends where your bike likes to be shifted at.
  7. I married my best friend. One of the best moves I've ever made in this game of life. She enjoys my motorcycle, and many of my other hobbies. Sounds like your in a similar situation. Good luck grasshoppa
  8. 46k? It's just broken in :-)
  9. Can't have fluffy balls. That's dangerous !
  10. I'll be first in line for one! I sure hope there's a racing series for them
  11. I am thinking about putting some hard luggage on the fz1. All the brackets I see utilizes the stock undertail. Does anyone have pics of there gen 1 set up?
  12. I would also entertain offers of other motorcycles. =)
  13. Had the exact same thing a week ago. Swapped tires good to go .
  14. I'm still not sure. I'm not thinking so, but if someone came along and wanted it, i'd sure entertain offers.
  15. I'm really torn. I just thought I'd see if there was any interest in my scooter :-)
  16. I just think its time to part ways. My interests are changing.
  17. ohlins OES kit in front forks, Penske double rear shock (currently set up for 175 lb rider), Factory huger option (painted to match), Factory option larger wind screen, Braided break lines, Magura Master Cylinder, LSL rear sets (with optional folding pegs), frame sliders , Greg's custom front turn signals, Devil fender eliminator with integrated turn signals (painted to match), Ivan's jet kit, Ivan's AIS removal kit. Paint is not perfect but bike is very mechanically sound. Brakes are almost new, tires have 600 miles on them( pirelli angel Gt). engine was replaced with a low mileage donor due to second gear going out. Bike has 35k on the clock, engine has 15k at this point. Engine had 7900 on it when installed. 4300 or trade for nice strom.
  18. sounds like it may be what I am after. Now to possibly sell the fz1!
  19. Thanks Tim. I'm 5.7 and my fz1 is raised slightly in the rear, and I do alright with it. I'm 156lbs and my wifes about the same. Hows the stock suspension?
