The first 10 for sures are in. I'll have the date tomorrow. If more are interested I could get a second one set up or possibly a second instructor to up class size but as of now it will be the first 10 for sures and possibly 12

Ok need a solid count of how many will come to Licking Twp Fire Dept for the class at 20 dollars per person. Class would be on a Sunday, mid morning or afternoon. Whatever is best for most. The Station is in Nashport off 146 and 16, 45 mins from Columbus. The fee is basically cost off class and cards which is $15 and a $5 donation to the Station general fund. You will receive an American Heart Association CPR Certification good for 2 years and if time allows and enough are interested maybe some basic first aid. This class is usually $50 to $60.

It will work, anything grandular will work. Advised, NO. Anything you use to stop bleeding ultimately has to be removed. Removal of Quick Clot, Salt, Sand ect will be painful at the least and depending on what is used "quick clot" will usually make the wound worse on removal as is usually takes a lot of digging to get it out. Any kind of cloth or gauze along with direct pressure is best. When the time comes to remove cloth or gauze you just have to soak it with saline solution and it comes right off. If you can't stop it with direct pressure and a good dressing then pouring something in it isn't going to work either, it's tourniquet time at that point.

The XDS is too much gun in too small a package. I defy you to test yourself with that gun in a multiple assailant type drill. The recoil is completely prohibitive of accurate follow up shots.
