I get that its their forum and their rules, I did have 30 some posts, but still a noob there I know. At some point, heavy handed deletions will run people off. I think this forum (OR) does an excellent job from what I've seen so far. I just now looked around on that site at a few threads where people are asking for opinions on guns and I now notice that everyone only says good things about whatever gun is in question so I'm thinking maybe if someone says something "not so flattering" about a gun.... they delete it. they must be sucking up for advertising..... or thats my guess...... That kind of takes the "usefulness" out of the entire forum. I mean, why go there for info if you cant see good and the bad, the pro's and the cons? It kinda makes the entire forum good for nothing but picture pages.... lol

I just bought a kimber and a kel tec... since the sprinfield is foreign made, I think I'll look at the Kimber Pro carry II stainless. I just wanted to diversify a bit and the springfield sounded good

Well you know, its impossible to strictly buy American but when given a choice, I will, even if it cost's a few dollars more. Yes I ride a Jap made bike. There is not an acceptable American made product as an alternative. I just didnt see where having or voicing this opinion was cause for deletion. I probably got a little too fired up about it but some things get under my skin.....

I go to a forum some that specializes in 1911's. They have a lot of good info there so I mostly just read. I had a question though and I asked it, it was answered and then I made a comment and it got deleted. Now I've had post's deleted before. Mostly some type of political post and some mod didnt view politics the same way... I can live with that, I'll just leave if it gets so bad the truth or free speech is impaired. But this one just struck me wrong. This is a site that has all gun guys on it! Good ole fashioned, mostly ex-military, pro American patriots. tell me what you think. This is the conversation: Champion,manufactured where? I've been looking at the champion as a possible carry gun. I like the stainless model but in looking around, I see that some say "made in brazil" and some dont say.... So I'm wondering if the newer ones are manufactured here or still in brazil. Could anyone help me out with this info? I dont blame them! Its just good business. They see our unrestrained spending on borrowed money, they see nothing being done to decrease our trade deficit (the only way to turn our country around) and the dollar gets worth less everyday because of it. If we dont reduce the size of government, cut spending to about 1/8 of the current level and use tax incentives to decrease the trade deficit and spur manufacturing, eventually it will take a half dozen dollars to by one euro............. the day is coming........ dreadfully.... but its coming.

Glad it worked out ok with not much damage........ most spills happen in the garage or the driveway. The slower these things roll, the more awkward they are and the more apt they are to decide to lay down for a bit.....

This new R1 looks thick and heavy...... I'm sure its just looks but still......... seems they keep getting further away from what I like.......... I'm just not satisfied with anyones line up this year! I think I'll ask them to all re-do everything....... just for me.....

I'm sure as Obama so arrogantly went over there to try and influence the committee with his superior wit, charm and good looks that he never had a doubt he would get his way........ I'm also sure they saw thru this obvious arrogant ploy at influence and added it to the list right behind "massive corruption" as a reason to turn Chicago down. Each host city has notoriously been left with billions in debt that tax payers are left on the hook for so in my opinion, we didnt need it here anyway.

Hmm.... Thats where people differ.... I like the old style stuff. I like tinkering with everything and making it work like the old-timers intended. Dont get me wrong, this new stuff, if you just want kill something, is great, very few issues..... If you want a hobby to go along with preparing for deer season, want to learn something about history, old fashioned all the way. I'm sorry I cant help you with the new stuff. Its great, I just never got past the allure of the old!

Thats why its titled Patriotism..... everyone see's it differently. I dont think this guy was expressing his freedom of speech by burning a flag. He was trying to be as big of an ass as he could by destroying the one thing he knew they held dear to them. wrong on 2 counts by my view!

You should start one! The people that gave my class also teach a class to would be instructors and get them certified to teach it......... Its a good way to pick up a couple extra grand on the weekend!!!

$50 is pretty good rate! I paid $100 for my class. However they do give 10% off on whatever you buy in the store for 30 days after your class. I took full advantage of this since their prices were already equal to anything I could find on the net and I was in the market for a major purchase The 10% turned out to be a great deal cause it saved me a couple hundred bucks.
