The victim was making a U turn and tried to avoid the cop and the cop immediately said the guy tried to ram him........ Its obvious he was just looking for confrontation and found it with a guy fleeing....... thats right..... fleeing not ramming or threatening. (takes big bad man to pop a few rounds into a guy trying leave the scene) I agree it was a cop on an adrenalin fueled power trip........ looked like he had been just looking for the chance to put on his cape and be the "super hero" Granted the guy should have stopped.... no question..... was it worth taking or losing a life......... NO I can only hope that this guy at some point understands what his rush to glory and pats on the back by his fellow officers has cost this man and his family. I also hope it weighs a heavy, crushing burden on his soul.... knowing he killed a defenseless man strapped in a seat just to feel the rush..... But I've had this arguement on here before and know that half the people will worship this idiot and dream about being being just like him. Well, until their 16 year old goes out and tries his first beer, and some asshole tries to give him a speeding ticket and the boy gets scared and runs cause he's thinking how pissed his dads gonna be when he finds out.......... thats when the superman wannabe attitude will change into something less juvenile than hero worship. I believe in self defense, I believe in deadly force when warranted. I carry a gun to back those words up. I DO NOT believe in murder of a defenseless man. I'll not argue this one. I said what I feel....... thats enough.......

I just did that........ very eye opening. Just when you really need your weapons, they come and take them. If the shit ever hits the fan, its good to be aware of this. You have no rights at the business end of automatic weapons.........

I doubt you're gonna find one on one instruction. Its a 12 hour class.... if you have to teach it, would you rather spend 12 hours giving it to 1 person for $100 or 15 people for $1500? Call a gun shop in a smaller town, they should be able to hook you up with a decent class for a reasonable price.

I just hope the guy is still in jail, if not, he needs to be.......

Have you ever had a 1911 b4? I hadnt until I bought my Kimber. I can tell that 1911's are going to become a passion. I'm not quite sure what it is, it may just be a combination of the beauty, craftsmanship, the fine engineering design, easy customization, great feel in the hand and the silky smooth trigger pull. Either way, there is no going back and I'm looking for a second 1911 now. Kimber is a great gun, you'll love it. What model are you thinking about?

This was fun and lazy day.... I ordered a new mainspring housing for the Grand Raptor the other day and it came to the door via UPS first thing this morning. I tossed it in the house and then I left for Columbus. While I was there I checked out Vances. Its a nice store. Very busy in there. I'm not used to having to take a number..... anywhere! lol I then made my way over to Buckeye.... I was shocked, thats a nice store! I was sorta looking around for a 4" 1911 for carry but I didnt see anything that I couldnt leave without. I have plenty of time so no big deal. I did buy some of that Federal Ammo in 45 ACP.... the 250 rounds for $89 and I bought the last box of .380 that they had in the case....... oh ..... and I picked up a couple pistol pouches for cheap. Anyway, I got home and installed the new Mainspring housing on the Raptor and I like it much better than the old checkered one that came on it. This one is a chainlink design. So I just enjoyed the day, loafing around doing what I want......... Oh......... here's a pic of the new Mainspring housing:

I think I may get up Tuesday afternoon and try a ride into Ky. I want to hit 59 toward olive hill again. It's beautiful, hilly and curvy, it also has fairly new pavement. It should be pretty with all the leaves turning, its a bit higher elevation so they usually turn about a week faster than here. After that, it looks like rain and cold for the next week or so........... Gotta get it in while ya can!

So far he's been doing nothing. He got a request for 40K more troops but apparently he's been sitting on his thumb for 40 some days now refusing to make a decision while the troops we do have over there are twisting in the wind waiting on help to arrive. I'm guessing now that some idiots gave him a "Peace Prize" He may just give up and let them declare victory over us and bring our boys back home with their tail between their legs. It would look a bit contradictory for a Peace Prize winner to actually send the troops required to "Win" a war.... wouldnt it?

I'f I have to live under a ruler who makes me submit my work and assets, leaves me without choice or hope to succeed, limits or restricts my freedoms beyond my ability to bare it or the ability for my children to excell, just to live "In peace"!!!!! Then, No Thank you! A very Un-peaceful resolution was called for back in the 1700's and it shouldnt come as a surprise when and if it ever happens again. And Competition is the heart of what has made this modern world you live in!!!

Face it guys, Our way of thinking is obsolete. Our country is changing and we and our thoughts, ideas and opinions are going to be left behind. We will be grouchy old men dis-satisfied with our world to the bitter end. We'll be sitting in our rocking chair, watching all that we love implode and the sheep will run in circles wondering why everything has failed. And nobody will understand when we say "I told you so"

It was a ploy by the Pirates to lure the French military away while they went in and took over France. They 5 guys in the skiff were the bait while the other 3 guys stormed the capitol and forced the nation into submission!

I like a lot of guns and I do believe that a "tupperware gun" in many cases are great out of the box shooters. Many of the 1911's have to be shot and tinkered with a bit to make them the way you want them. Personally I love the single stack grip, it fits nice in my hand and I love that light, smooth, but crisp trigger that only comes with good quality 1911. And you're right.... they are just darn sexy! lol....... OK, I'll stop b4 I start slobbering.....

hmmm, that's either disturbing to me or it gives me hope that more ladies have such low expectations from men. I'm not quite sure which......
