I don't know why people are so hung up on the VTEC being a bad thing. It really isn't that bad at all. Don't like the feeling of hitting the "go baby go" button at 6400 rpms, get a PCIII and throw on a sweet tune and it nearly disappears

yup, its basically just "tuning" for bats. Like we tune motorcycles to get the best performance people do so with bats as well When you're swinging $3-500 sticks, it blows to wear out the bat before its ever really broken in which is half the case with mine. Had it 5 years and he thinks he can do some magic so I figure for $20 why not. The other 2 are brand new ones so those will really take off
