  1. That sounds fun! VFR with Kerker Slip on... music!
  2. Yes- post up your build thread! We need more build thread threads! The VFR guys --- VFRD have don't quite a few Streetfighter conversions. You might look into Sebspeed Customs
  3. Also check - www.dimecitycycles.com
  4. Been banging on this restomod bling it job on my Valkyrie the last few years, in between winter breaks (Garage is frickn cold) and a few spots of life gets in the way. One whacked thing you never realize up front how much the project is going to consume rectangular dollars. (ouch) I'm probably 80% done... this thing has gone on and on and on..... Debating about doing a mini build it thread... Looking for a seat guy to do a passenger seat like... (not Corbin, they snubbed me.) I dont like the stock seat on the bike.
  5. Ain't that GS a heavy beach for dirt work?
  6. I enjoy some easy cruising in town in the evenings. It's cooling down from the day and traffic is light.
  7. Thanks for the heads up on fresh pavement on 41S ---- that is definitely one of my favorite Ohio twisty roads. Lots of good roads out of Hillsboro. _------------------- Got the windy 9 map --- good stuff!

  9. I'm working on a overzealous resto mod on a Honda Valkyrie. (Is it done yet?) One of the items I'm looking at is a shorter, narrower passenger seat. (Yeah, that's nucking futz) I can physically cut the seat pan narrower.....The thing is, its about the style and looks of the seat....(.the stocker is this huge bulbous) nobody is going to sit on the reworked one. I'm hoping to work face to face with the upholster guy. (I'm a pain in the ass engineer)...from Dayton and could drive a bit. (Most of you seem to be NEO) Any suggestions?
  10. Hey, another VFR guy.. cool 😎
  11. Hi newbie rider..... Please take to heart..... The classic saying on being a new rider--- You first get a full bucket of luck and an empty bucket for skill. When you start out, you are mostly using up the luck bucket. Your job is to fill up the skill bucket before the luck bucket runs out. Best wishes and welcome to riding. - Practice as much as you can, and find a more experienced buddy to ride with and ask lots of questions..
  12. Cant believe anyone is still using a K & N oil filter with the spot welded nut on the ends!
  13. Keeping the crap, selling the Pit Bull....
  14. But I like my other crap, Pit Bull is in the way.... see? total dumbass.... 😁
  15. I bought this Pit Bull stand in a weak moment - "wow, that's cool" But I'm a dumbass, I have used it exactly zero times. I have other jacks and stands that I seem to goto for whatever the job is. Selling for $110. Shipping is out, I am willing to drive a reasonable distance from Dayton to meet up. (Maybe kick in 10 bucks for gas)
  16. Probably its a gotta be there situation, if you were closer, I would take a look. Have you put a multimeter on your battery and check volts at idle and 5000 rpm? There's plenty of maybe's....
  17. Well, the answer is probably "yes" to all, I do lust for a clean green 500/550. The thing that got the gears in my brain going is that I happened to bump into an older gent who was a Honda dealer in the 60s & 70s. - Um.. OMG, my head is def still spinning from that.
