  1. For Cincy, Montgomery Inn is a favorite....
  2. Hey peeps, so what is your "he said, she said.... or she said, he said?"
  3. Love the damn thing... I like it for just ez local backroad 45mph cruzing. Soak in the sun and scenery, and relax. Just got it back together after a 3 year chrome it, bling it project, wheels, forks plus guts upgrades, calipers, and a hundred other things I have forgoten about. I always have had some kinda cruzer bike, and then some type of sport bike. One to relax and one for my hair on fire in the twists. I do have the itch for something new... (no BMW for me. )
  4. Well, damn... my Valkyrie is not smiling at you no more....
  5. A tip for your Oldwing there, I initially made these for my Valkyrie, but since the wing is the same engine... (Sold a bunch to the Valk guys.) When you get to the point of replacing the pulley bearings, using a Hyundai part plus the SS plate is a better way to go, plus way less expensive.... - some guys just cut the OEM bearing off the stock plate.
  6. Somebody buy this, or, dammit I might have to...
  7. I have a drawing of a bracket I had done a few years back and looking for someone to make a STEP file to use for a machine shop. Or.. possible just quote the thing.... there's left hand and then right hand.... Cheers and beers...
  8. Yeah, that's most of the attraction....although 28 years old, most of the hoses, rubber parts are due for replacement....
  9. It's so ugly, it's pretty..... Been thinking about doing the classic line, man retires, then rides motorcycle around 48 states (or some version) and what bike would get to do that.....
  10. Holy.......omg, very tempting...and I'm in Dayton.... Would complement my Valkyrie...
  11. Aw... dammit..... you made me order these! lol
  12. Dude.... I had wondered about your full story on the South American trip......... I followed many of your old posts.....
  13. I'm guilty of occasionally seeing a tool or tools in the OMG gimme that department.....I definitely obsess until I just buy the thing. Most recently I found some extra long box end wrenches from www.carnagetools.com Bought 5 of them, they are quite exquisite......very nice for the tight spots...
  14. There's a dozen ways do it, but the hot tip for the bench top is Menards sells pre-cut 2ft x 8ft ACX plywood, that's already sanded on one side fairly good. A little finish sanding and top with polyurethane and your good to go. I've done it with 2 slabs of plywood expoxyed together, it's solid as all get out..... Cheers and beers...
  15. Idea,suggestion....build a workbench and attach it directly to the studs while they are still exposed. Mount a good vise to the workbench, on the left if you're left-handed, on the right if you're right handed.
  16. Agree with that, nail em up, your done no paint. While I'm kabitzing, LVF plank flooring too.
  17. I'm after a blue one myself..... No Goldwing for me...🙃
