  1. Saw that in the Rep. Condolences to all. Kinda spooky because Broadway is my usual escape route when I go riding.
  2. I had the good fortune to meet and ride with Tim a few years back. RIP brother.
  3. I would rather have my donor lungs broke in. My 2 pack a day habit wouldn't be such a shock to them.
  4. We'll see if the WH finger pointing stops when the next R takes the helm. It would be nice if someone took the high road but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

    Miss USA 2010

I'm sure that publicly condemning a ruthless pack of terrorist savages would never result in harm to her relatives still residing in the middle east. What a dumb ****.
  6. I may forget birthdates, anniversaries and an inordinate percentage of people I've met in my lifetime, but I'll never forget a car, motorcycle or dog I've owned (or in some cases, been owned by). 65 Ford Mustang (rust bucket) 74 Ford Maverick (new) 74 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 (new) 63 Ford (beater) 64 Plymouth (beater) 66 Pontiac Star Chief (best beater I ever owned) 75 Datsun pickup (Lil Hustler dirtbike hauler) 74 Pontiac Trans AM (455 & lots-o-fun) 77 Ford Maverick (I'm a slow learner) 73 Buick Century (repaired wreck) 77 Ford Pinto Wagon (beater) 77 Ford Pinto Wagon (nice southern car) 83 Buick LeSabre (boat) 83 Toyota Celica GTS (I still miss this one) 84 Ford Conversion van (kids were into BMX) 81 Buick Regal (ho hum) 81 Toyota Corolla ($250 beater-drove for 2 yrs-sold for $250) 81 Olds 88 (these were good cars) 82 Dodge Omni (never did run right) 76 Ford LTD (bulgemobile/gas hog) 87 Buick Regal (good little car for the $) 81 Chevy S10 (semi beater-ended life as my oldest sons 1st ride) 95 Ford Ranger (new-drove for 10 years) 94 Mecury Sable (ugly car but nicely appointed) 97 Olds Aurora (cheapskates cadillac) 02 Saab 9-3 (wife finally gets eurocar) 02 Saab 9-3 (liked hers-got myself one) Not sure what brand, but the next one's gonna be a convertible.
  7. Do a little research on Proposition 13, that was the beginning of the end. Be careful what you ask for...you may get it.
  8. There's a simple solution...quit your job and go to work wrangling carts at Walmart. Myself, I'll just keep paying the taxes.
  9. I might be up for this. 93/541 is my usual choice for a Coshocton trip (I grew up there).
  10. We'll soon see if there are 95,000 jobs waiting for these lazy fucks. http://www.northcentralohio.com/newsboard/single.asp?Story=40427
  11. I drop in occasionally. They seem to have frequent problems with their site.
  12. I've heard most physicians will quit practicing medicine and take up selling Amway. I can't wait to see if our company premiums go up the usual 2~3X the inflation rate...while we have to lower our prices to stay competetive.
  13. Business ethics are at an all time low in the US. Seems like a good time to privatize the government.
  14. I must be a liberal redneck...wrap yourself around that
  15. Toyota is still far behind the big three in recalls. I think it's a big deal to some because they never expected them to have problems of this magnitude. Welcome to GM's world, Toyota. Then there is the question of "how much did they know and when did they know it". I predict a full recovey.
  16. Clutch perch Ram mount and auquabox. I installed a cig lighter socket tucked under the fairing dash panels.
  17. Funny, when I typed it I didn't feel anxious. If you read the 2nd sentence of the quoted post you will notice that I decategorized him.
  18. The general anti-establishment tone; railing against corporations, the rich, major established religion. I realize that both ends of the political spectrum would like to throw this piece of trash into the others court, but at the end of the day, he's not a good fit for either. Just a sick, disillusioned, selfish individual who could no longer deal with his portion of life's disappointments.
  19. I interpreted his rambling diatribe as leftist. I find it disturbing that some people would consider his murderous act justified and heroic. I've known many chronic, self employed tax evaders. Most are just douchebags who are more than happy to let you and I pay their share. I suspect this guy was of the same ilk.
  20. Try appealing the valuation. It's worked for some folks I know. The squeaking wheel gets the grease. BTW, a county or city auditor's (and most other local elected officials) actions have very little to do with party affiliation. Unlike lawmakers, these are the worker bees and they have a specific duty to perform. http://www.ohiorevaluation.com/appeals.shtml

    Snow

12+ inches and 20 inch drifts. Thankfully the Saab goes through snow like a tractor. 2 hrs later...
  22. My local Sears hardware has a decent selection of ss metric cap and socket head fasteners.
