  1. I am looking at getting a Walther P22 or P22Q. Walther's site does not really indicate the difference. The Walther forums say just cosmetic differences with the same internals. Does anyone know or have a P22? Thoughts? I figure it is the same form / style as a PPQ and would be a decent trainer / range pistol.
  2. Looks like a road trip after work for me, thanks!!
  3. It is good to support a local guy. I have been looking at Old Faithful Holsters. They offer a kit that you assemble for about $40. OR the complete "ready to go" holster for about $75.
  4. If we are really dreaming, I would like a Noble M600: Realistically, I would like to get a 1972 Cutlass Supreme ( had one in high school), ANY 68-70 Oldsmobile 442, 1970 Chevelle SS, or a 1987 Monte Carlo Areo.

    Obama's plan

Way back on post #27, I think we are on the same side. I do not want to be the person that decides what person is branded "as a mental health risk".

    Obama's plan

universal background checks maybe, depends how it is done, where, what is the fee? the 10 round cap limit, is this just for rifles,or all firearms? What about the pistols such as Glocks and other that can hold 15 -17? DOes this include police and other peace keeping forces? As for what passed in New York, not many semi-auto pistols holds less then 10. ( not including 1911's). So now, all manufactures need to make 7 round "new york legal" magazines? Not sure how to link background checks to mental health database. How does a person get added or removed to this list?
  7. I don't know how many tickets the winner bought, but I will give him $240 for it, and triple his money if he bought 1 ticket.
  8. Barely on topic, but I have given up looking for extra magazines for a 9mmWalther PPQ. I have seen prices for 15 rounds range 60 - 75 and the " I really really " want 17 rounds over $75, when they show up on Armslist and gun broker. Non-factory magazines are out of stock at every major, and a few not so well know on-line stores. I am sad and weepy that I did not buy any of those Glock magazines from the BallisticReload site a few months back.
  9. I started trying to read the NY Safe Act and a bunch to read and I did not even press the "page down" button yet......
  10. PM sent, but seems you have a game plan, possibly.
  11. I hope this does not pass as written. 7 round max? If it does pass, time to start making extra thick magazine plugs or "thicker" followers for a drop in solution. And then next step, start tolling New York Criagslist for magazines for sale.
  12. Really all the New Yorkers just want a 17 ounce soda...
  13. Well, I suppose I won't submit my $100 bid then.....
  14. ^^ I will give you a nickel for it, = x5 profit?
  15. I just had a discussion with a friend who mentioned required training prior to purchase. If this is the case, who makes the rules for what is covered in this class? How long is the training? The issue I have, while training is a good idea, I do not think it should be "required" for the " right to bear arms." Some owners may take training on thier own and spend time at a range to improve skills. Depends on the person and how serious they take ownership.
  16. +1 on this one. - Chumscrubber ( great movie, silly title but important to the movie) Camilla Belle is in this one - Heathers - Brick - Slingblade - - 25th Hour - with Edward Norton - American History X
  17. I was in Streetsboro and just noticed a new firearm shop called Buckeye Firearms, near route 14 and route 43. The had a DPMS for $2400 on the wall. Not sure of all "tacti-cool" mounted on it, but it is there for the buying. The shop closed at 5, and we arrived there at 4:45. Walked around and had a large selection of pistols on display. Not sure what they actually had in stock.
  18. Here is link from another site that has some of the questions to the seller from the ebay listing, post #82 http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=675273&page=3 an example: Q: Hi. Will you also include a high capacity bag? Jan-11-13 A: I only sell standard capacity bags, but I'm sold out at the moment. A three year backorder may be available soon through BagPul.
  19. Blackhawk holster arrived today!!
  20. ^^ That is about all we get for twisties near Cleveland. River Road is patrolled regularly by law enforcement, just so ya know, but still a fun road to ride.
  21. My new laptop with Windows 8 is a boatload different then Windows XP. I think I will just stick with the I-pad.
  22. Yes, in North East Ohio, near Solon and Chagrin Falls. Unless you are truely north east, like Jefferson, then it is not really that far north or east
  23. If you are going to ride, take ride on River Road through Hunting Valley and stop at Squires Castle.
  24. I have nothing to trade, but I have a Walther PPQ 9mm and it is sweet. Team Walther - F - Yeah!!
  25. This is getting scary how our leaders react and just push an agenda. Time to take notes for the next election.
