  1. This would be a super cheap Jet-Boil, I like it
  2. My first class will be the end of june with most of the people that I often shoot with. They already have experience in handling and shooting pistols. It will be a mixed group of older and younger people. There will be a total of 10 people.
  3. Congrats MJ!! How did it go for you?
  4. Bandit, that link was helpful, except I do not have any punches that small. I will pick up some at Sears on Sunday.
  5. I am going to look at the rifle again tonight. I picked up some CLP to clean it with. Normally I use Hoppes #9 and Rem oil when cleaning.
  6. Great Lakes Outdoors on route 322 ( is that Mayfield or Chesterland? ) has Blazer aluminum .380 for $18.99 per 50 and also Blazer aluminum 9mm for $17.99 per 50. The only .22LR they have is a 50 round box of CCI hollow point for $8.99. The counter guy said these were special "3 section" hollow points because they break into 3 large pieces? I don't know.
  7. ^^ Thanks. After all the Mom's-day stuff Sunday, I might try to go to Stonewall with the brother-in-law so he can try out his new Bersa Thunder 22LR.
  8. Speedy, is that new range open yet near you?
  9. Maybe a Grainger Supply or as already said, Fastenal. There is a small mom and pop hardware store near me ( Oakwood Hardware ) that has a great selection of metric bolts. Not sure if they carry left handed thread though.
  10. Red, the kid / father can point and look at my bike all they want. The main issue is that the bike did not belong to them, or had permission to sit on it.
  11. Wow, glad you were able to be calm. Unless you parked near a Chuck-E-Cheese and there was a quarter slot near the bike like those outside kid rides, it think the child would have witnessed dad getting a life lesson.
  12. ^^ Congrats.. I would like to step up my rifle game with something more then just the .22LR's I have been shooting.
  13. Does anyone have this model or instructions on how to remove the bolt? I searched the net, and looked on Savage web site for disassembly instructions and did not find anything. Also looked on RimFire Central. The Savage 65M is a bolt action, .22 Mag rifle. The bolt does not come out the back by holding the trigger and sliding out the rear of the chamber. This is not the same model as the Savage 64. So far, I have removed the stock. I will work on this a bit later this evening.
  14. I need to watch something until Walking Dead starts again.
  15. I was traveling for work, and stopped in at Academy Sports in Alexandria, Loiusiana. No 9mm or .22lr. They did have plenty of 10mm. 17hmr, .22 Win Mag. This was my first time at an Academy store, nice selection of Blackhawk and Fobus holsters.
  16. Correct, A and A. I was planning on stopping at Nelson Ledges after shooting, but the person I was with had to be some place at noon, and he drove.
  17. Went to the range and fired my father's rifle I got when he passed.Kinda strange firing it without him there with me. I also got to shoot a Winchester Model 61 pump, a Savage model 65M and a Norinco SKS.
  18. I won't be able to make it, sister is having car issues. Maybe I can get there for the afternoon session.
  19. I think I would be a shoe-in for the lowest HP with my 82 GS 850. I am guessing mine would be about 60 hp? ( Down hill, with a tailwind)
  20. I would but the grill won't fit in the back of the Subaru. See ya around 9-ish.
  21. The line was out the door at Jeni's, so I went to Dave's Cosmic Subs instead.
  22. Remove the helmet liner or at least Frabreeze it before putting it away for the season. Today was the first chance I had to ride my motorcycle this year, and my helmet smelled like a gym-sock from last year.
  23. I got the battery installed in the bike, got it cleaned up so I am ready for a quick little ride. I will end up in Chagrin Falls, on the bridge over the waterfall. If anyone else ends up there, look for the black and silver 1982 GS 850, with historical plates and the OhioRiders sticker on the driveshaft cover.
