What are all of your mods that you have now, and what are you planning next.

Oh and some of those pontoons up there scoot. It seems like now if you dont have 225hp outboard on the back of your pontoon then your nothing. Usually for me though I notice way more of a younger crowd than older. But again sorry you had such a bad experience because I really enjoy that place and look forward to it on a week to week basis.

I love Indian Lake. I don't live far from it so I know it quite well. You have to know where the bars are at. I know of like 6 good ones off the top of my head. Yes it is very shallow, and I don't know what kind of boat you have and how deep it is but this may not have been the time to go. The water is down by a lot. I know quite a few people that have deep boats that have never had a problem but we all kinda know the lake and know where to play are around and not to. +1 on it being very choppy on a day like today. Sometimes you can go and it is way less choppy than anywhere else I have ever gone, but Indian is usually such a popular spot that Sat and Sun are a very busy day to go. I for one have never even found a stump at the bottom, most of Indian is such a mucky ass bottom that you don't see anything of the sort. Its sad you had such a bad experience your first visit because that lake can be a blast, in fact I enjoy it more over all the other big spots. It is especially fun if you are staying the night up there. If you would of posted you were going to visit up there I wouldve gladly came out and showed you around and gave you some of my insight for whatever its worth. I do however agree with you on the boat ramps but I seem to get that shit wherever I go. I don't put up with any of that very well either. I have though found a couple other smaller launches on Indian where I put in on the weekends that aren't on the main drag. Usually that way I am in and out in no time. If you ever get the idea to say fuck it and try it again let me know.

That sucks, I hope for you it is something very stupid and small. (flexplate is small compared to bottom end)

Thats why I wanted to make sure that it was just as safe to drink before I even just took a shower in it.

We actually only drink bottled water. We use the the water I am talking about that would come through the faucets and for showering/washing dishes. I am going to at least give it a shot washing, I'll send a sample in to get it tested. If it does not come back good then I will use the tank for diesel fuel or something. I wonder how much cheaper I could get the fuel if I went to a distribution place and had them fill up 575 gallons on the spot? I would have enough fuel to last me two years.

Prob 5ft wide x 4ft tall x 3.5ft deep. One is round the other is square.

Well the worst thing that I thought might have come in them was some type of degreaser. I will try to clean them up and atleast send a sample out to get it tested. If it doesnt test alright then I will know it is no good. If it does then I am safe I guess.

I cant get inside them to scrub them though. It will be dumped into our inground tank and go through a filter system.

I just got two 500+ gallon plastic tanks for a good deal and I would like to clean them out. I have no idea what they stored in them before hand, but neither one smells very harsh. I need at least one of them to haul freshwater back to my house. We are having problems with our well and our sistern(sp?) is running low due to the lack of rain water. I just want to make sure I am not going to contaminate anything. What can I use to ensure that these tanks are safe to use?

You are forgivin from me:D . Actually I was getting pissed for about 20 mins. I have vista and ever since I got my Laptop when I have poor connection or IE just wants to shit out it always sends me to the google images pages and shit. I thought it was my computer untill I realized I was easily going to every other page I wanted to except CR. How do you get rid of that google redirect shit?

Ha ha. It was a rough night. But the invite still stands. I know Erin fishes out there everyonce in a while and does alright, I just haven't had the chance to go with her yet. I'd come up there and fish but I can't put the boat in the water, I can't get a sticker.

I bought a hoist and a leveler from Sams club for 150 bones.

If you think that is a thrill try going up to canada and catching pike after pike on the top of crystal clear water using nothing but a topwater devil horse lure. That my friend is a thrill. But after about 125 fish in three days, you will stop taking interest in catching anymore. Not to mention the fact that some of the pike you catch will get closer to the canoe and you will quickly decide that you are not bringing that alligator ass size fish in there with you and cut the line instead. I actually had a pike overturn my father and I in a canoe.(I am sorry if this is not well writen or hard to understand, I am CR surfing Drunk as hell.) It has taken me 5 damn mins to write this post. If anyone is interested in going fishing in the next few days let me know, we can take my boat to wherever. Ohio water sucks for fishing though compared to KY or Tenn.

I just went for the first time this year. Last Thurs out to Alum. I have a 16ft. Lund with a 9.9hp merc and a minn kota. I only caught one bass and that was early. The fish were really active until about 8am. Next time I am going out at about 530.

Thats nasty. What did you replace your bottom end with?

Thats my usual schedule unless I have Drill weekend.

I know Camaroz28 always stress going from the bottom. It irritates me because I never even care to attempt it. Dont even try to have any type of plan, it will never work out and you will just fuck yourself in the long run. Go into like you are doing it as a hobby, just another night in the garage. I have wed-sat off so I can help some I am sure. I also have a bunch of spare LT1 parts+performance parts laying around. I am thinking there might be another complete motor in there out of an impala. I am not sure. The only thing we would have to do is swap the heads and accessories. I am going to try to get out to the barn and see what is left in there. We have been through so many LT1 parts between both cars that I can't keep track. Let me know when you get it home and I can try to plan some time to come help. We can get it out in one evening as long as everything cooperates.

Glad I wont be around to deal with all of that snow fun this winter. Welcome to the board.

All that does for me is prove to me how dirty all my shit really is. My bike, my truck, my fourwheeler, my waverunner, and my car all need a couple hours worth of work a piece. It is actually depressing.
