Put me down for buns and BBQ sauce

This is only half true... For temperature only gage, yes this will work. The coolant was most likely designed for 50/50 or higher coolant ratio to control corrosion and inhibit acid. Reducing the amount would necessitate more frequent changes and possible corrosion failure.

I like the design too, just hate the shirt color. He knows I am busting his balls because that is what I do.

Propylene does not cool as well (higher specific heat) and is more viscous (harder to pump). There will be many here to argue, they will be wrong. Stick with the non silicate shelf brands and you will be fine.

Reverse text color of course, but we will will see on shirt sales...

Flush with distilled water and refill with a non silicate coolant 50/50. If you do not pay attention to the no silicate part you will be changing a water pump. use bike specific or Prestone 150000 mile with blue cap and you will be fine. The other brands listed may not give good results... have seen many mistakes.

Shirt color option is nasty... black or dark blue and removal of balls and we are good.

Welcome!

Just flush and change out the coolant. Looks like someone mixed coolant types or added some really rad race coolant that lowers temperature by 150 deg.

You are overthinking it! Just run good tires at street pressures and enjoy the ride.

Honesty and compromising principles has nothing to do with a multinational company sending a different value card to thousands of people than what was advertised. For all anyone knew it was per tire? Plausible deniability. troll level complete

There will always be "do gooders" and jealousy to motivate self righteousness.

Another great comfortable bike. Forget tires and just know you change them when you buy.

Welcome from Medina.

Great bike! This bike was built from 1993 to 2004. This was originally Kawasaki's flagship 600 (ZX-6) and was relegated to budget bike in 1995 when Kawasaki released the track focused ZX-6R. Owned this exact color in the form of a 93 ZX-6 from 93 to 95. Great bike with very good power from midrange to redline. Other than a weak second gear the bike is bulletproof. I had to change second gear after I slammed to many clutchless 1 to 2 gear wheelies.

Yeah carrying a CPAP on the bike takes up a lot of space, and while everyone else has a flask of good stuff, my flask is filled with distilled water.
-
And it is better than the PR4!

Kawasaki air injection uses reed valves and they tick at idle, its pretty common. The sound should go away as soon as you rev the bike. Cam chain rattle usually only makes a sound when coming off a rev when the chain unloads briefly.

That should have Showa forks, easy to do.

Have never had oil leak after a change, but have had old oil cause leaks. The black is suspended metal, specifically teflon and brass/copper from the bushings. what is it? Seals are easy while changing fluid.
