Welcome! As Snot mentioned, try to make the Epic Ride. It's great way to meet fellow riders. The ride is broken into 10 bike groups and further broken into skill level and speed. There is always a big group from the Dayton area that ride over as a group. I promise it's a great time!

If you can remove emotion it becomes much easier to see real character. The character of our current president was not hard to see very early in his career...unless you fell for the pipers hope and change song.

I don't see anything wrong with the warranty. It is a power sport battery, as you have can see with this thread, there are all kinds of opinions and misinformation with regard to maintaining and properly storing a battery. Would hazard a guess that 70% of the batteries sold each year fail within 1.5 years, because of improper charging (to much amperage), not charging when putting into service, or left with a parasitic draw for months on end with no recharge. They would go out of business if they covered every battery for 2-3 years. Just do not see how a company should be left holding the bag for end user ignorance.

I can not disagree with you.

Above (multiple posts) is the exact reason why we have a 2 party system. Both play to emotions; black, female, gay, guns, religion, or what ever. This is also the reason why they keep running worthless candidates and winning. You have been caught up in the emotional play and have fallen hook line and sinker, ready to defend your emotional choice even when they have done something extremely illegal! A new battery should be charged at 1.5 amp or less for 4 hours minimum! If you are not doing this your battery will fail prematurely. If you leave a battery in the cold with low charge it will freeze and fail. If the machine you are powering with the battery has a clock or ECU that draws constantly and you do not maintain with a battery maintainer the battery will fail. This is the reason most batteries freeze. My FZ1 still has the OEM battery and it is 10 years old this spring. My last bike went 8 years on OEM battery and was still good when it was totaled. We have TTR dirt bikes which have electric start, all are on same battery 3 years now and these are known the fail frequently. When a bike is started, it can take up to 4 hours of continuous riding to charge the battery back to full. Moral of the story...properly charge battery when new, maintain the battery, and it will give you years of dependable service.

Rather than racetech check out Sonic Springs, they are $40.00 less and great quality. I have used them in almost every bike I have owned with great success.

New springs up front, fork oil change, and new triple clicker shock out back. The FZ1 has never felt better! Not sure why I lived with the shitty progressive OEM springs for so long.

I think CSC brought up a good point... EXUP can be a problem, but it will cause major bucking as the RPMs rise and will run like shit. Secondary flies would be my first bet. That would definitely lower HP and the bike would otherwise run well...like adding a restricter plate. It would not show up in a dyno pull as the af ratio would still be fine running on primaries alone. HP would be the only indicator. Being a 2007 and the 4 valve head, you should be seeing solid 160's with your mods.

Shakedown ride today with new suspension! Now I am wondering why I did not do this sooner.
