Don't take all this at face value, the Ohio state highway patrol has a study more recent and their data is exactly the opposite. Bike over 1200cc and age 40 and over was by far the worst group. Don't get me wrong, speed kills, but the statistics and the buzz words sounded like the beginning of legislation to ban sport bikes. I will find the study link for the state of Ohio.

I am a high beam guy, and it does make you more visible. It may not be enough, but it certainly helps.

It's ok for a complete noob...never rode or needs very basic skills, but I do not agree with some of what they teach. To completely honest, a track day with instruction would be the best way to teach people motorcycle dynamics.

The gas stop is in Beverly half way through ride (Approximate). Beverly is at the intersection of 339, 60, and 83. There is also another decent gas stop at the intersection of 339 and 550 past Beverly. Take your pick, both offer enough pumps to handle the group size we have proposed.

If I have to wet wash my bike, I use Bike Brite. Its the best period! For detailing I use Original Bike Spritz Spray Cleaner and Polish, its the same stuff as the original Honda Polish (they made it and repackaged for Honda). The other stuff out there never really works as well as this combination. You may have different results. I have heard bug slide works, but it really was no different than a good carnauba wax for removing bugs.

Buy some bulk shot for shot guns, remove one of the bar ends and fill handlebar with lead shot. Make sure you pack it best you can. Guarantee this will end your vibration issues, or at a very minimum change the harmonic to a more reasonable level/frequency.

My rides are 350 miles plus. I takes about 60 seconds to wet a rag with WD40 and wipe down chain. Because the WD does not attract dirt, its a simple one step clean and protect process. Modern sealed chains do not need lubricated, as the O/X ring seals in the bushing lubrication.

Looking for a 2008 OEM airbox for my sons KLX110. Any year up to 2009 will work. New bike and went to change the air filter and the box is cracked all the way around on the pre filtered side. Cover also came a part when we removed it.

All Seasons in Wooster has a brand new 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 (Z1000SX) for like $8400.00. Would be perfect replacement for the VFR but considerably more comfortable.

It's not just sport bike riders that are squids. I see more cruisers riding like squids, but if they dress like a pirate it's somehow excepted as normal.
