  1. Lost title, crashed with bad title, or stolen. Either way it sounds like the seller is not being honest. Has he/she given a reason for no title? The little bit of information you have given...newer bike, no title, and cheap are a red flag. Look elsewhere, lots of deals to be had.
  2. Next Saturday is looking good for now. Close to 70 and clear. This is Ohio, so the forecast could change.
  3. Hope they can get American Honda on board as the title sponsor for Mid-O. This will help bring the glory back...it was always a great event with lots of activities and great advertisement.
  4. I am interested, just have to check the family game schedule. I need at least one more good ride!
  5. Daddy issues = working the pole. Lucky for us it will never end!
  6. I would agree if you are taking about a supersport bike ( ZX6R and ZX10R), but other than the name and general styling, the Ninja 250/300, 650, and 1000 are not even in the same realm of riding position. Would recommend the Nighthawk 250 way before a Rebel. Not that the Rebel is a bad bike, have just seen many complain about riding position, especially after leaving the Rebel for a more natural upright UJM bike.
  7. Rebel can be a hard bike to ride for beginners...your feet are in front of you and you set back, almost like falling backwards. I always try to steer beginners to a UJM type of bike, Ninja 250/300, or trail type dirt bike.
  8. The motor is also a gem! All of the air cooled XJ's were great...my first bike was a Maxim 650, so I am a little biased.
  9. Not sure I would drop too much coin on first bike. She will drop it, everyone does with the first bike. You can find lots of first gen Ninja 250's 2000 through 2007 that are in great shape and cost from $1000 to $2500. If she drops it there is less plastic to fix and aftermarket parts are a dime a dozen because of how long they ran that model (87 to 07).
  10. Interesting...we need to talk at the fall epic. Have been thinking of the same swap!
  11. Just an FYI Bike is $4720.00 high retail on KBB Being fall, you will be hard pressed to get $4000.00 Nice bike and good luck with sale.
  12. Love the Van Halen reference!
  13. We had a 2005 Chevy venture, and you could not turn off the head lights. If it was dark and you turned lights to off, they stayed on. Almost all GM cars of this era operated this way. The only way switch was effective was if it was light outside.
  14. You had other problems, as the torque rating is not arbitrary. If torqued properly you will not pull threads or twist bolts, unless said bolts have lubrication. If threads have grease or lube all bets are off, unless the torque specification was designs to be lubed.
  15. Go with hybrid system, which would be heat pump and propane. The heat pump will provide good heat down to 20-25 outside temperature, then propane can handle the really cold days.
  16. Experienced or not you did it the right way! Good on you...wish every shop did things the right way. Another important thing...ALWAYS use a torque wrench!
  17. NEO ride down will meet at BP station in Lodi for west side and Akron, then we also stop in Coshockton for far East NEO riders. There will be a separate meet up thread as we get closer to the ride date with details and times.
