Just checking in on Todd's thread and to say thanks. Todd goes above and beyond to get people taken care of. I had 1000 rounds get delivered in the mail today for a gun I haven't even picked up from Todd/Dale yet. They have it there ready for me, but I'm not in town to get it. Thanks for always lookin out.

I keep a couple packages of Quick clot in the first aid kits. Tampons are great to keep around too. I had a Sheriff once tell me there's a stat out there, that there is and accidental discharge from a fire arm every 35 seconds. True or not, I'm aware a 3 by experienced weapons handlers. No one was ever hurt. You can't stress safe handling enough.

"Stage 10", I lol'd When I have heard people say "10 pound turbo", they have been trying to refer to its power ability, not how much it actually weights. I really want to mess with them some time and say it's a 45 pound turbo. The. Just see where they go with it. Aaron, I have bolt ons. But that's just CR stock to me. Hehe

So I'm out of town at this school right now. I drove the Legacy here. I make a run to the store with anther guy going to the school. He starts talking cars. Instantly, he starts talking about how fast his Comero was, for a 90's V6. Then on and on about how he raced it all the time and beat everyone, even a bike. My ears are bleeding, and I'm just driving at this point. I merge on the highway and get on the gas a bit. "Wooow dude, do you have a 10 pound turbo on this thing"!!!!!? My car is stock with a tune. It brings me to this. I'm in no way someone who knows all there is on racing or turbo cars. I have not heard someone say "10 pound turbo" in about 10 years. I just remember last I heard it, it was from a guy that was a complete idiot. Your thought? I know you guys run into people that talk cars and think they have/had the fastest beast EVEEEEER!!!

Shields are coming more available, but still can be hard to find in stock. For instance, I ordered 2 from separate dealers, over 2 months ago. They still haven't come in. I've come across three others by different means in that time. And Vacnces have had them in and sold out 2 times in that same time. The 9c is still pretty great IMO.

+1 on the Apex gear. I have a few M&P's, and the fit in my hand is what keeps me buying them. Just buy 1000 rounds and learn the gun, and you should be hitting where you want with plenty left over. Congrats.

Just catching up from the belt posts. Those belts have to be pricey. It's all preference. I just hadn't seen anyone setting those up, outside of security details. Is this for your range use, or is this set up for grab and go SHTF?

Taking that charge means if he ever wants in the military, he will need a waiver approved. I'd be pretty heated if the rights I exercised and got a conviction for, were what kept me from wanting to defend those very rights. I was really hoping to read a better outcome. I don't think this worked out for him at all. No one in the system stood to defend, or could prove enough to support his actions. That's crazy. Good to know though. As for the vid. I get carrying for protection. To have the time to be out and ready for an encounter like this is just not something I could see getting into. It's entertaining to see how it goes down, but everything that goes into it, it's just not worth it to me. If you are going to go to that extent, go get your CCW. Be in the system, as having been cleared to carry. I don't want to see the right to open carry go away. I also don't see a high percentage of people out there that know someone is allowed to do it. So when they do, they call it in. Now you have an issue of someone calling in what is an emergency to them. The word needs to put out in a better way is all I'm saying. Parents, Teachers in schools, there has to be a better way to keep this right and not flex it as a way to educate.

Nice looking set up. What was your attraction to a belt set up Vs. other rig options, like a drop leg, vest or plate carrier?
