That was timely. Nice. It's not looking like I'm going to have a free day on the weekend this weekend or next. Mothers day weekend would be the soonest, and I'm guessing people would want the stuff before then. While I would enjoy folks coming out, it may not be fast enough for most to wait two weeks.

Just found out The James doesn't take the insurance that the military uses, Tri Care. So, may need to be treated where he can be covered.

Thanks, Tim. Aaron, thank you. That sounds like the people I'm hoping to talk to. And referrals are awesome. They just schedule him for his dye test and it's still 10 days out. My guess is they don't feel he is an urgent patient, so that's the hope.

Looking to ask some questions to someone informed about cancer treatment at James. My father was just diagnosed, and is in Vermont. They fond a tumor in his lung mid March, 8cm x 4cm. I feel they slow rolled getting him in for the biopsy, and just gave him the results on Tuesday. They have not scheduled the dye test to determine treatment options or how aggressive it is. We are told that's the next step. My concern is obvious, and I question the treatment knowledge and facilities in Vermont. That's a big tumor and it has been 6 weeks since finding it, with no treatment or plan. Still testing. He feels fine and can travel, so that is not a factor at this time. I don't want to slow down treatment by pulling him from the Doctor he is seeing. But, is there ever a good time? He would probably need to redo many tests with a Doctor here, so that has me thinking the sooner the better. Thanks CR.

No one want to say "hit someone on a motorcycle". So what is the cop suppose to do, break contact? If the cop doesn't pursue, then the rider won't be reckless? So just let riders go? Can't really do that. So the rider escalates it and becomes dangerous. "Oh, but they have it under control". Bullshit. Most riders haven't done anything past the minimum requirement to get their license. Their "skill" is questionable, at best. So the fleeing bike runs a light and splits a minivan in half and kills himself and the people in the van. Is that "ok"? I feel more comfortable with the cop bumping the bike and getting the treat down. Ohhh, you're going to sue the department? Why were you running? Why were you driving recklessly? What about the attempted murder charge for your passenger? I did the bike thing for a bit. I did about 6 track days my first year. I had a good group of friends, that weren't idiots on bikes. Riding on the street sucked, to me. I don't want to see a rider down, but what the fuck did this guy think was going to happen? The cop bumps him, and NOW that's not right?

I haven't updated this in a while, but the pond has been an on going project. I added some fish last weekend, with 25 hybrid stripped bass, 100 more gluegill and 25lbs of fathead minnows being added this weekend. Here is a short vid with info.

Chris, I think you said the order comes in sometime in May, maybe June? If it works out, I could offer a CR pick up and test day at my house. This would streamline you not having to meet several different times with people, and let them try out their new gear on the pond here. I'm not exactly close to everyone, New Albany/ Johnstown area, but it may be an option to consider.

Been wanting to do a Spring detail, but haven't had time. A buddy wanted to detail the STi and get in some range time at the house. So, I paid him in ammo, food and left a few toys for him to shoot while he was there. Car came out great. I just wish I could keep it this deep in color and shine. It was a white male, mid 20s. Nice guy. We had our windows done. I could make out all he was saying. I understood what it to be complimenting each others cars. He said some other stuff, but I couldn't hear him. Just thought it might be someone from here.
