  1. ^^ Definitely not looking to do leaf spring. I have one I found for $5900, but I'm trying not to drive 2 hours and pay full price. Really thought someone here would have one they know about in good shape.
  2. It’ll probably be 1-2 side by sides, but want to be able to put the RX7 in there if I decide to take it rather than I want to drive it.
  3. Looking for a 20'x 8.5' enclosed, dual axle (5,000lbs), "V" nose that is in good working order. I know someone has one sitting around that is in the way. I will entertain a 16' or 18', but those are uncommon sizes in 8.5' width. I may do a 24' if the deal is right. Feel free to call 614-264-2404 Thanks

    Auto assets

Know that Chip is a well informed Audi track car guy. I'm sure he has let "Goldie" go by now. But back in the day he had a A4 1.8T making in the 400's I believe, as a track car. Chip's a damn good driver too and doing laps in that car was exhilarating and terrifying , with him at the wheel.
  5. I have that Magpul stock, I just haven't put my bull barrel in it yet. Hoping to get to it this weekend or next. Everyone has pretty much hit the good stuff. I really like the 10/22, I guess that's how you end up with three of them. Anyone have one suppressed?
  6. Come set up in the parking lot at Tractor Supply in Johnston, since we don't have a BBQ place worth going to anymore. And you need to keep a tire connection. I need 4 truck tires now. Happy you are doing what you love.
  7. The post looks fine. A price for the FN2000 should be listed. Link says make offer.
  8. I hear nothing but great things on the Pilots. However, I just sold my STi and went to a 2015 Subaru Outback. It has been my wife's car for 3 years and I have secretly wanted it as mine. The MPG is around 30. Very roomy, and I can fit a ton of stuff from the hardware store in it. Resale holds good value and the maintenance is simple. If you decide on a new Subaru, let me know and I will get you $500 off from Subaru.
  9. At the very least, someone could buy it and hang it on the wall with these other fine pieces of art. https://www.amazon.com/Paintings-5-000-10-Fine-Art/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=n%3A6685277011%2Cp_36%3A7175857011 She's a beaut, Clark. Good luck with the sale.
  10. Is anyone from the North East side of Columbus going to the Auto show? I'm in the market for a new Subaru for my wife, and they have $500 coupons at the Byers Subaru booth. Anyone willing to grab me one and meet up later? Thanks

    WTB: FD RX7

I would do a $2000, 2000"ish NA Subaru (of course I'm partial to these) for daily and spend the rest on the FD. There are so many approaches to doing a FD. Almost any advice seems to turn into bad advice. It can turn into the worst car you absolutely love.

What's your plan with one? LS Swap? Weekend fun car?
  13. Work one weekend a month and two weeks a year, for 6 or more years and I can get pay $50,000 paid off if they are federal.
  14. I certainly like the price point. Thanks for posting. I’ll check these out.
  15. I’ll have to look into this more. I have a switch in the middle of the house, and that is what I plan to link into when I do hard wire out there.
  16. I’m ok with that. I just got forced to 100MB. I just need to surf the web, load YouTube and play pandora. I said there is a plan for that. I don’t want to do the same work twice. This is what I use on the far side of the house, and into the roku for watching tv.
  17. So now the my butt has healed from 100MB being forced in service from Spectrum, I'm looking to improve the wifi signal on my out buildings. I Have a detached garage that is 60' from this router. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BUSDVBQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 In that garage, that is the half way point to my shop, I have this. https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-EX2700-100PAS-Wi-Fi-Range-Extender/dp/B00L0YLRUW/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1515753850&sr=1-3&keywords=wifi+booster My shop is about 120' from the main router and 40' from the booster in the garage. Signal is weak at best in the shop and I would like to have good wifi in the shop. There is a plan to hard wire to the shop and have a router there, when I run better electric out there. But for now, I'm looking for something better than what I am running, which isn't helping the shop. I have had this booster in the shop too, hoping it would grab some signal from the house and boost it. But, I think there wasn't a strong enough signal for it to work with. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks CR.
  18. It's been talked about on here a hundred times. Well, here it is again. Spectrum takes over Time Warner, and apparently that timed out with our "promotional pricing" expiring. We had 30MB for $45 a month, it would get increased, and I would call and say what the hell, they would adjust back to $45. Now Spectrum say it's $80 for internet only on the same 30MB plan. I call and they tell me they will do 100MB for $65 and it is a fixed price, not a promotion. Well, no one ever said it was a promotion before, and not here they are after 5 years with them, telling me on was on promotional pricing. I don't need more speed. They tell me that's the only option. And it really is, because of where I live, and there is no other provider. $65 and no cable is nuts. If I bundle a package, it would be a promotional price and in a year the I'm getting hammered with pricing again. What's next, $200 a month for 2000MB? You may not want it, but you are going to take it and like it. Don't turn this rape into a murder.

    New gun

I really like what Ruger did with the Precision. I have had my eye on them, in 6.5 as well. Congrats on the new gun.
  20. Went there with my wife's family a couple years ago. We were suppose to go again last year, but canceled when we moved Dad here. They have not planned the Summer yet, but I hope to get up there too.
  21. Lots of plans for this year. Last year seemed to be re-gearing equipment and gathering more bait than I will use in two years. I have a fly in scheduled in Canada this Summer, and the pond continues to improve with population and fish size. I'm trying to talk myself out of a fresh water in house fish tank with typical fish from my pond. I also, need to stop considering a reproduction well of bait fish. Too many projects and ideas. Need to leave a few for retirement. Anyways, the Columbus fishing Expo is right around the corner. http://www.columbusfishingexpo.com/ I will be there first thing Saturday morning with a few buddies. Main goal is to talk to the lodge we booked with and cover last minute questions and details. Fishermans warehouse has $2 off coupons, FYI. Anyone planning on being there? Is anyone ice fishing?
  22. I don't do any of the Instructor certifying courses. Those are all posted on the NRA's site. Too much koolaid drinking for for me to get into being that involved.
  23. 90% of AR style .22's are typically bad investments. I don't like the cost Ruger put on these, but I would put it in the lead over every other AR .22 out there. The 10/22 action and mag is a proven combo and reliable. If I was looking for a plinking rifle, or something the wife and kids can work with, it would be this. GLWS
  24. Thank you. I'm not sure who has more fun in that class, the student or the Instructor. There is the intent to do P1 starting when the weather warms up, April'ish I try to keep class sizes 4-8 students. Larger groups can happen, but that is very rare. Let me know what works for them and I'll get them going. Dad's doing ok now. Thank you.
  25. It means so much to read these responses. Thank you all. I just don’t want my class to be full of fluff and BS, and just the bare minimum. I look forward to the opportunity to work with more people from CR and their friends and family. Please reach out to me with any questions. Thank you.
