I have a barrel coming from LMT. My FFL guy loves them and I have heard great things.

Just an update on the shipping status, they are in 30 quarantine, normal customs requirement. What I don't know is if they are just starting that 30 days or if they have been there a couple weeks. I'm workin on that info, but ask for leanancy with this stuff coming in. I'm shooting for mid June still, but don't want any huge upset for things that are out of my hands with shipping. I will update as I have info. Thank you all for your understanding.

I'm reading more about scavengers in this thead than people stocking up. Stocking up is only good if you are safe to stay where your stock pile is. Otherwise, you're on the move to get some place safe. Take what you can with you and get all you can along the way. Unless you have a bunker type set up, anything over 30-60 days worth isn't worth it to me. That will get you through the bad storm that hit, which is the more likely event Vs shit hit the fan.

Brian, Im a bit picky about my fire arms and I was looking for similar use. Everytime, it came down to 870 or 500. Some say this, others say that. I found nothing to really point me away from one over the other. I picked up a 500 for $265 from a dealer and have had no issues with it. It's simple. If I have to use it to defend the home, it's going to be confiscated anyways, so why go all out. It works all the time and is a throw away gun if need be.

Nice work Steve. I did this a few years ago to get some out to people. A little pain in the ass. Folks make it worth his while. Glad to see he's not up charging from the PX cost.

I like the LCP better, after light modding on the feed angle. With the DB, a big turn off for me was the non spring assisted mag release. It just seemed hung up. It's a personal preferance really. I gave my LCP to a family member, because I was not 100% pleased. These are a purpose build type weapon. I really don't think somoene is going to get all they want out of one, without giving up something another one might have for a feature or function. These noisy cricket size guns are just a tough thing to find the perfect one, IMO.

These are very fun to shoot. There are several set ups you can do with these with different stocks. GLWS

Alex, please feel free to remove my post. When I read this before, there was no flyer that came up about the event. Some things don't load on government computers. I hope the event is successful.

Be sure you get rubber coated cable on there. Hell, completely dry it, and spray coat it with some 3M rubber sealer.

I have $46 million in equipment I am responsible for. I have had some of it chained, but switched to cable. Chain and bolt cutters are a quick cut. However, cable is not all that easy with bolt cutters and there is always a few strans that need more cutting on them. To me, that slows them down and my provide the extra time to expose them and get them caught in the act. Like I said, chain cuts easy, and you can be outta there. If it's going to be in water, I would get rubber coated and at least half inch. Of course you are going to use a lock to secure this, and locks cut just as easy as chain, unless you get a hardcore lock.

I ran that WB set up for a 4 years years and I was trouble shooting it often. They replaced it one time, after finding it was an issue on their end. Misplaced it with in their shop which delayed me getting it back. So I went and bought another one and sold their new one they sent me. Hassle free now with an AEM.

GlobalGrind.com reports that Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys has died at age 47. Yauch, aka MCA, died this morning after a long bout with cancer, the website reports. Yauch, Mike D, Mix Master Mike and Ad Roc formed the Grammy-winning Beastie Boys in 1979. TMZ reports that he announced in 2009 that he was being treated for a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node and had undergone surgery and radiation therapy.
