    Hello

Yeah, Casey and a tech by the name of Brain took care of me on the bike. I would find shit for the bike, buy it, have it shipped to the shop, then ask Casey to make it better. hahaha I swear I thought he was going to get tired of me asking him if he could find this or that.

    Hello

Good to see you on here Casey. Cut him some slack on the pics. I'm IM'ing with him now and we are having computer issues.
  3. I'm told my new one piece Tecnic track suit will be there, but not me. Check out Hoblicks display.

  5. Hosting pics is a bitch from where I am. Here's where I get my pics from. Enjoy http://jakehollywood.tumblr.com/archive
  6. Thanks for the comments guys. The exhaust is very quite, until you get in it, but that's any exhaust. There are several details that just aren't picked up in the pictures. I had seen dozens of pics in email, then saw the bike in person in January, I was like WOW!! Only a few more weeks until I can ride. Anyone hitting any track days, please let me know. That would be road curse track, btw. Thanks again guys

Thanks for all the offers to help this soldier out. Her husband has the #, and will be calling this morning.
  8. I bought my 99 Legacy GT in 05. Then upgraded after 18 months of searching for a spacB, in November 2010. That's a seven year legacy. Pun intended. You're still chasing me. LOL
  9. That means a lot Yasser, thank you. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were mocking me. HAHA
  10. You and I have talked quite a bit about this. Glad to see it come together for you now. Keep me informed on your ship date. I hope to be home before you leave. I will show you what the Army won't about how to shoot. They process you through the range these days instead of train you well. Helps we can take our AR's an go do this. Your integrity is everything. Do the hard right over the easy wrong and your peers with trust you and look to you. What you are going into will expose you to some exciting things. If you deploy, which there is a good chase of that, you will be in a field that needs people who master their craft. people reading this will think, isn't that all fields in the military? It's not. Some admin soldier screws up paper work, an award doesn't go through, someone pay might be messed up and fixed later. Take the time to master what you do and care enough to correct others.

Thanks Casey. Our mission load is crazy right now and she has been working a ton. Our command came in today and mandated a day off for our section. This will be the second time this deployment, if that gives an idea of how busy we are. Thanks for all the willingness to help everyone. I will update with the outcome.
  12. Go see Casey at independant motorsports. He hooked my buddy up with this deal for I think 250-275ish. His deal is way cheaper than anywhere online. Just tell him Mojoe sent you.

Damn Scott, that is beyond awesome. Thank you. I can help with the work once I'm back. I fetch a wrench like no other. I'm not great at working on cars alone, but I know what someone is talking about that knows what they are doing. Any idea what cost might be to fix this?

So what are we looking at to fix the issues, cost wise if you took it to a shop? How much life is in the car with the coolant issue not being looked at right away? This is not a car I know much about, so it's hard for me to guild her her options. She likes the car alot.

I did miss the coolant leaking INTO the motor. I will let her know and go from there.

I have a young soldier returning from Afghanistan next month. She has worked her ass off here to clear up her dept. She is looking for a car exactly like this. Please give me time to let her see this and have her husband make contact with the number listed above. She is stressing bad about not having a car when she gets home next month. Please, just tell me it's a good car with only the small issues listed.
  18. Sadly you have captured it more the way it would be aired.
  19. So long as future taxes are reasonable, as we assume they are now, this should not be an issue for most. Raise the taxes, and now I can't afford to live well, well I guess that's where I make my final stand. Because if it comes to the point you are repoing my purchased weapons, I really won't have much longer to go before completely broke. The headline will read: Today a retired service member barricaded himself in his home today, refusing to let IRS agents take his fire arms. It is believed that after his time in service, he became anti-government. Agents were ordered to shoot on sight, and take his guns. The retired service member lived 50 miles outside of town, in the mountains, in a small log home on some land he had purchased. Locals say the guy never bothered anyone and had moved there to get away from the raising cost of living and live off his surroundings.

  21. BOA use to be the place that soldiers had to get there GOV travel card through. It's a credit card activated for when you are put on orders and may have expenses. BOA was horrible to deal with. I refused to get the card, which we were told was/is mandatory. After a few years, BOA was dropped and another bank has had the service. F@#$ BOA
  22. What are you looking for? Camera's, alarm with motion, silent alarm that brings the cops, booby trap that sets off a claymore, remote access through your phone or computer? There are many options.
  23. Still waiting for pics tomorrow from 1st post.
  24. As for it being this bike or that bike. I sat one every bike I could to see if it was comfortable. GSXR's were the most comfortable for me. The Jardine slip on was on the bike when I bought it. I actually like it a lot. I haven't seen another one I have been interested in.
  25. I picked up this 2007 GSXR 750 in the Spring of 2010. The deal was right and I planned on laying it down one day and just hoped it's a track day and not on the street. I'm a newer rider and tell people I have a 250 with 500 on reserve. It's really just my reality check because I know I have more technique to work on. I have enjoyed riding, but road course tracks are far more fun than riding on the street. I say these things to paint an image of what kind of person and rider I am. When I bought the bike it was not a color I had seen a lot, plus I've been a fan of dark grey. Here is the stock look. Sorry, I was not able to get the pics to link in without having to click on them. So after a year with the bike, I decided I wanted some small changes. I keep it simple when I ride. All gear, all the time. The black and matte white theme kept coming to mind for keeping it simple. I needed help to evolved what I had in mind, so I talked to my good friend Justin, who was running Independent Motorsports (also known as Cycle Search) at the time. We merged our thoughts and the project idea was born. I didn't need it to go faster. I just wanted it right and to be quality. Shortly after the plans were made, Justin moved out of state to be close to his family. And I deployed to Afghanistan. I knew a few guys still on staff, but it was Casey who stepped in and said I will get this done for you and make it happen. He and a tech, Brain, were all over this. Casey was getting the parts and chasing the painter. Brian was brain storming a way to mix race prep track bike, with clean and simple. All the while, installing new Vortex shorty levers, Vortex case cover, Sato Racing frame sliders, Break away handle bars ends, GSR stabilizer, HID kit, 520 conversion kit, a new wind screen, replacing fork seals,Vortex rear sets, a stomp pad on the tank and dozens of small perfections he thought would make it better. We emailed endlessly back and forth. Some of the most crude MS paint art was formed. We had a sticker look, a wet paint drying while going fast, nothing was quite right. We all paused for about a week. The known things I liked were the Carbon wrapped front of the tank, carbon wrapped lower Cowl and the rear piece above the wheel. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but in person, I love the way it looks. Casey and Brian went so much further than me being a friend or a customer. It was their bike. Brian was consumed with a constant flow of ideas to get it just right. And Casey had his hands full sourcing things that were just right for this bike. Casey, knowing I love racing and a bit of rally as well, went and had stickers made with my last name and the American flag. They are placed just above the base of the mirror mounts. This is the finish result. I'm extremely pleased with the finished bike. The service, the friendship, and just absolutely taking care of me and my bike have been out standing. From day one when I walked in their shop not knowing anyone, these guys have been top notch. If you have a bike question, a problem, an idea, you need to talk to Casey and Brian and they will get you taken care of.
